can you take clones and successfully root outdoors
Hi there I have a quick question can u take clones and use the sun to get them to root i was wondering if this is possible and if so what would I need to do to get them to root I have got a propagator,clonex,rooting gel,rockwool,jiffy pellets thanks for the help

As long as you keep them covered with some kind of plastic and spray them regularly the first few days like normal, yes. Keep them in shade, its equivalent to 100 watts per sq meter.
Ive read of people putting cuts right into the ground no hormone and rooting, they try to root when seperated from the plant naturally, these plants really want to survive.

Perfect I've got a cheese with a few nice branches that I wanted to take just have no way of cloning indoors at the minute will try tomorrow post results
