Hey PH,

That sounds as a nice combination of feeding, I hope that is going to work well for them.

On the other hand, the ICE is looking super healthy, fresh and alive! Really like it

So, how is the situation with the Skunk Special? How are they feeling? Getting better?

To be honest the Skunk Special is not the easiest strain to grow since she loves feedings in general, is kind of a hungry strain. Sometimes it may need good quantity of Mag, but you need to increase the amount slowly slowly and may add also Cal. And in general likes lots of of light, you may notice that can stretch a lot or that can to spread all over in order to get as much light as possible.

4 weeks vegging is a perfect time, enough for this strain I would say. As soon as you do the switch she will go crazy, increase impressively the size, keep that in mind too

Anyway, looking forward to seeing some improvements with the little Skunks.

Take care and until next update,
Mr B.

Actually after I gave a small flush (and by flush I mean a 1/4 strength solution with lots
Of runoff) sprayed for bugs and then realized I rinsed out
Too much of the nutrients - I went ahead and gave them a full feeding with calmag - I run 6/9 (6ml/g micro and 9ml/g bloom) - most actually peeled back up.

Here is the ICE plants a few days ago and I'll get an update in a few more days when things straighten out a bit more.

It's weird how some got so affected and others were fine.

I think there may have been a lock out causing some deficientcy and then when I flushed them. It became deficient from lack of nutrients. Because when I gave a solid feeding with full dose calmag and lots runoff. The ones that weren't totally damaged started to show signs of turning around quickly. Very interesting to try and sort out issue with Seedlings. So used to clone.

I also have 2 other flower rooms that I am just finishing up with the build portion and in middle of getting tables in and building drip system. Got a lot going on but going to baby these ladies back to good health!

I plan on begging about 4-6 weeks I want to ensure I can get a few clones from each different pheno. So we'll see..

Thanks for coming by - any input or comments are appreciated - if
You think I could be doing something different. Let me know.

Hey Mr. B,

Turns out that I think a flush and then starting them on full strength 6/9 and some calmag (using RO water) was just what the doctor ordered.

They have bounced back and are doing really well now.
Nice and green and looking healthy

Thanks for giving me a heads up on the Stretch - I am going to have to check how many days in veg they are at, I want to make sure to get some clones before I flip them - because I want to find a good keeper I can continue to run. I am hoping to find something nice and worth keeping in the stable.

I am impressed how quick they recovered and the growth has been picking up.

Here is one of the ICE Ladies (#1)

If anyone wants to see more of the Female Seeda plants in my album there is all the pictures I've taken from day 1 till now.

So as of today it has been 34 days since the Seedlings have broke ground - they would be a lot further along if I didn't have a little hiccup - but either way they are coming along nicely.

Here is a shot of my one C-99

Here is a shot of the new veg Room. Just built!

The female Seeds plants are mostly
On the right side. Everything is kind of all over the place as you can see - I need to get everything organized - and install an exhaust fan, I'll get it completed one of these days.

Thanks for stopping by..

Yeah PH, that's great. Right what the doctor ordered

I see, they are looking like they recovered! Vivid green, love it.
Great job, plants are looking like nothing happened. Skunk Special is as it says a "special" strain in the way that is strong, resistant and stress is not really an issue for this genetics.

So, day 34 now? Still going for the 2 months of vegging? The Skunk can also stay a bit more, depending on how much the hiccup influenced the growth, but to me it doesn't look like such a big deal anymore...

Anyway, I am super glad to see happy plants, keep up the good work!
Thanks for the pics updates,

Take care,
Mr B.

Update

So just a quick update.

Looks like all the plants have recovered and are starting to look good.

I have been feeding 6/9 (GH micro/bloom) and calmag (3ml/g) - I also use RO water which is why I add some calmag.

What I have found is that using plain RO water the nutrients drop my PH down to like 5.0 - so what I have been doing is adding 2gal to every 10 gals of RO water which buffers the PH and keeps it around 6.0 - then if I need to drop it a bit I'll add some PH down.

Here are a couple side and top shots of various ICE Phenos

Definitely looking good. Great job PH
Adding calmag was a great idea, as I told you the Skunk Special are going to appreciate it so much.

One quick question, are you going to change pots for the Skunk Special and the ICE? And if yes when?

And I am curious about the ICE phenos, I see one that is way less bushier than the others but tell me more if you can

Thanks a lot for the picture updates, is getting day by day more interesting.

All the best,
Mr B.

Hey Mr. B,

Thanks again for stopping by..

So yes bumping up the feeding was definitely a good idea. I am at full strength now. Feeding 3ml/g calmag and 6/9 GH micro/bloom
I have also added some foliare feeding a product that has 18 amino acids - was a sample from hydro store so thought I'd check it out.

Now on the pots - so the way I grow is I usually put plants in 1 gal or 2 gal pots of coco coir and in flower I get them up to feeding 3x per day - when lights on.
So depending on how long I veg they could stay in the 1 gal pots or bump them up to 2gal pots.

Now in the different phenos.

So I transplanted from solo cup to 1 gal pots on half of the ICe and half of SS - the ones that didn't get transplanted struggled a bit and were and are still a lot smaller. So that is the dealcthere. I will post pics of both and I will eventually, prob jut before flower, take a pic of each pheno so I can document each one individually.
There are some differences for sure and I am really interested to see how they do in flower.

Looking to flip in about 2 weeks max. Just need to clone zen plant to ensure I can find my keepers as I want to find a good pheno and do some monocropping.

Need a nice yielding one with the quality there as well.

Hopefully we will get more interest and more people posting.

On that note. If there are any questions or input please feel free to add to the thread. Kind of quite in here.

Looking good man, looking pretty busy in that veg room! Lovely leaves on the skunk special... have you noticed any skunky smells in veg so far?

All seems nice and green, good work
