Update -

Ok it's been a little over a week and it's time for an update.

July 18

I took the advice of some of the members and started to feed my seedlings some nutrients. Nothing major just some base and superthrive.

Mix 2 gal
2/3 (Micro/Bloom - ml/gal) + super thrive (few drops/gal)
.8/5.7
Runoff
1.3/5.8

Staked seedlings that needed support.

First root popped out bottom of pot -
Pictures are still sideways - kind of annoying sorry about that! Any suggestions?

Seedlings are coming along nicely - starting to take off a little bit I think the nutrients helped out and I will continue to feed nutrients with every watering.

The skunk Special seedlings seem to be overall a lot shorter. There is one runt that's slightly stunted hopefully she bounces back. (Left side of 3rd picture is SS)

The ICE seedlings have more variation, but looking nice so far. (Right side of 3rd picture is ICE)
The C-99 and WW-BB are also nice and healthy - second picture is the WWxBB.

The seedlings are actually growing pretty well in the coco - this is my first time popping beans in coco so I wasn't sure what to expect - but they seems to be doing well.

Tent is at 79-80f and 60-68 RH - lights are on 24/0 right now. May switch over to 18/6 but I am still building the flower rooms and the basement gets pretty cool, I do have a small box heater that blows into back of my diy tent that helps out big time - but there is a lot of work to be done on the room. If any of us interested in seeing the build process I've been taking. Lots of pics along the way. Just found out I don't have enough Amps for the 9 lights I wanted to run, so I am building two rooms and going to run flip flop on same circuits - have to pay a shit ton to get my electicalcal all wired properly.

Anyways that's this weeks update...

All looking nice! You will have plenty of work on your hands soon it seems.
I always crop the edges of my pictures before uploading, just to remove some of the background leaving the important stuff - this seems to stop them rotating.

All the best

Hey Brunch,

Your right about lots of work. I have another 25 clones just rooted and another 40 in flower room.

Lot of work ahead of me. But happy with way seedlings are going so far.

Update!

Was in the Grow room (as always) doing some work and snapped a couple pictures of my little seedlings.

Things are coming along well. I am still doing a wet/dry cycle - not letting them dry out completely but just until the pots are light.

I have been feeding 3/4.5 (micro/bloom) ml/gal - and I also add 3-5ml/g calmag due to the fact I am using RO water.

These are the ICE Seedlings - coming along nice.

These are the Skunk Special Seedlings

So that's my quick update. I know things are a little bit slow at this stage, but stick around and this Grow will get a whole lot more interesting!

C-99

As I said before I am also going to document my C-99 seed and the WWxBB seed as well.

This is the C-99 that I have - she is 20 days from breaking ground.
Looks very Sativa to me at this point - I know it's early but those long skinny leaves...

And here are a couple Skunk Special's - 20 days from breaking ground as well...

ICE

Looks like the seedlings are starting to take off.

I've noticed accelerated growth over last couple days. Also the leaves are getting lighter, which looks like I should increase the nutrient strength that I have been giving them.

So far I have been feeding at about 30% - so 2ml/g micro - 3ml/g of bloom - plus superthrive.. this was sufficient up until now - but I think a slight increase will be helpful.

Here is a quick shot of one of the ICE Seedlings

Hey Phases,

Super glad to see this plants taking off. Did you notice how similar the Skunk Special plants look alike? Did you notice any remarkable difference between the individuals?

It is really interesting to see how the plants develop with Coco. Seems to me that the beginning is a bit slower than expected. Normally Coco should go faster but in any case the plants are now starting to developing fast, is going to be nice to observe them growing

And about the feeding. Everything sounds cool to me, you may want to wait a bit more to increase slower but I am sure that is going to work both ways

Thank you for the picture updates Ph, I am glad to see that you are enjoying the grow.

All the best,
Mr B.

Hey Mr. B,

So for the most part there seems to be pretty uniform growth with the Skunk Special - however there is one that was stunted and is a lot smaller, I am leaving her alone and see if she can catch up later.

Now there is a runt that has good growth but is really short - looks to be a different pheno - so I got my eye on that one. I'll get some individual pictures to show the comparison.

There is however an issue and it's just on the SS's - the new growth is deformed and looks like a deficiency or something. If you click on the picture and zoom in on the individual plants you can see the damage.
The weird thing is the ICE Seedlings are all fine and don't exhibit any of these issues, so I am trying to sort that out.

Now what you had mentioned about the slower growth in coco - I think that I would put in smaller pots next time as the wet/dry cycles took longer than I would have liked, leading to underoxygenation I believe -
So that's something I should maybe keep in mind. Or maybe should have watered less but more often...

*my T5 runs 24/0 currently - and this was the temp/RH reading yesterday. It's usually between 76-80 and 60-65 RH
