I got 70 grams even, cut and dried. Just O.K.

I'm not giving up on the LEDs. I'm changing genetics.

This is a Sour Diesel which vegged under a Vipraspectra 450.

It is in week 3 12/12 under a Vipraspectra 600 and a 90 watt (actual) RED LED.



They look so good during veg. but seem not O.K. on size of buds.

We'll see if this hybrid does any better.

I dont know man. Must be your LEDs. Here is a picture of some Cherry Pie on the left and Blueberry Haze on the right at day 18 of flower. Just shy of 400 watts in a 2.67 foot by 5 foot room. Almost 30 watts per square foot. These are cobs and not my good lights either.

Yes it’s the lights...

I’ll see how these go. I’ll probably use the Vipraspectra 600 in my 2X2X5 veg tent and put my HPS gear back in my flower box.

I think it has been a good experience for me. I only wasted 2 full grow cycles.

I will update this page when these plants finish.

They have another week or so. The buds are small but they look great.

I’ll dry and weight them.

Then I’m to put my Air-cooled Sun Reflector back in and take the LEDs out.

I’m going to do a run with 400 watt HPS/MH light. It’s about the same actual wattage as the LEDs.

Then I’ll compare the output, yield and quality.

This should complete my test.

Reverting back to my old systems...

Taking the Vipraspecta 450 OUT of my 2X2X5 Veg tent



In with the old. This is a 315 watt actual CFL array. I've had the array for over ten years, it kicks ass for Vegging and you could actually Flower with it.



2700K, 5000K and a 7000k light, a pretty complete spectrum.

My clones were doing very shitty under the LEDs. I will repot the 4 clones (under LEDs for 3 weeks) and put them under the new array.

I will let the Sour Deisel continue (completely finish) under the LEDs and then put the Vegging Skywalker in when they are ready.

The Sour Diesel (under LEDs) turned out very good, good taste, small buds and very low yield - 48 grams dried and cured and lots of Larf.

To be fair to LEDs I am flowering Skywalker which was vegged under CFLs under equivalent wattage 400 HPS.

They are looking great but stretching. I already know they will produce more.
