Hey Syd,
It took me sometime to get in touch with our breeder but here I am. We used to work with Automatics long before the low rider was on the market. we found out that the offspring of indoors strains crossed with automatics gave automatics and faster finishing buds, we went for the faster finishing buds and forgot about the automatics. These kind of Automatics were sold as Early Misty, long before the low-rider was on the market. Hope this helps ![]() All the best, Mr B.

I'm gonna be flipping these on Friday. Some are of considerable size now, approaching 24" tall, with lot's of budsites/branches. Will update with pics when I transplant and flip them.

Just discovered this, Tag along from here... had no idea you were running Special Skunks DTOG
![]() I ran a pack of these 6 months ago, I had lots of variation in my pack, but screwed the majority up due to newbie grower error, the one that survived my punishment the best I cloned and have been keeping her around. Explosive stretch, lots or red hairs, and actually does smell cat-piss-ish... |

So I ended up transplanting and flipping these on 9/1/17. Don't worry about the mess on the floor. I get a little dirty when I transplant. Next day when it was dry, I swept the dirt up off the floor.
Flip day pics 1 of 2 runts Largest 3 Now here's one from 2 nights ago. I have a Sour Dubb just a touch bigger than the largest Skunk Special in the group with them(back left corner). Along with an over 5' tall Sour D.(you can see a branch photobombing in the left foreground) .

Here we are at almost 2 weeks in. Several of them have great structure with lot's of branches. In the next few days I'll get some individual shots of each plant.
Normally in another week I would take all the lowers off. With these I'm gonna leave a few lowers on each plant. That way if I get some truly special plants, I can clone and save them.

Standard practice in my garden. Some stuff I clone before the flip. If I know it's definitely gonna be worth a second look(genetics alone most of the time) . Other stuff from seed, first run I'll leave some lowers. Then depending on how each variety flowers, during weeks 3-6 I can get a good enough idea if I wanna clone them for another look.

Nope. Just supercropped all of them. They were kinda tall at the flip. Not running them before , I decided to pinch just in case. I have a few other plants that were considerably smaller than the SS. Didn't want them to get blocked by the SS stretching for the moon. Looks like the supercropping worked well, as it made the branches really shoot out.
EDIT:Tto add to that.... Most seed plants I run, I let them grow au naturelle the first time . I like to see how they perform with as little interference as possible. Helps me to organize future runs, and know what plants I can count on to fill a space. And/or how close I can plant them to each other.
