Tomato plant crown rot?
Can anybody point me in the right direction on this? I'm limited on information, hoping for a visual id

thats crazy, some kind of fungus? Have you tried sulfur on it?

Slime mold growing on mulch would be my guess, the tomato just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
