Outdoor GF harvested yesterday

Thanx for letting me tryout your genetics.
Unfortunetly, it all got grey mold on the insides of the buds around the stems while drying, and I wont even be able to sample any of it. Sux but it is what it is. My other genetics dried out perfectly. I ended up loosing about 12 ounces total. The C99 just doesnt do well outdoors here in Mass........ I guess?

I understand, it can happen unfortunately.
Well C99 is officially an Indoor strain but as always if the weather, humidity and environment condition are good the plant should grow with no problem.

Anyway we all learned from this experience!

@OvergrowDaWorld I feel with you. I also had flys inside! my rockwool cubes.... sometimes strange things happen. I never had worms inside my buds and dont want to imagine how disapointing it is to spot some.

Which are your favourite strains for your area?

GG#4 - but it is prone to Powdery Mildew, especially when drying. Need humidity around 40% or the crystals get coated with p.mildew on the insides of the buds and you wont even notice till your lungs burn and close up on you while smoking it. If done right its a great strain in this area. Maybe abit to crystally? If there is such a thing....lol!

I really liked the yield and size of the buds on the Outdoor Grapefruit.
Smelled great too. Really wish it dried out better for me and didnt have all that caterpillar damage. I would grow it again in a greenhouse.
Just may give her another go next season if I can secure a 9' high x 6' wide greenhouse.

Thanks for the feedback and info about the Outdoor Grapefruit. I really appreciated your honesty during the whole grow report and this is why I am sure we will have the chance to try again next year. No worries about that

Thank you Female Seeds. I would love to run her again in a greenhouse. I will def secure one for next season just for the Outdoor Grapefruit. Ill grow between 1 and 4 of them depending on the size of the GHouse I can get. See you next season!!
