Short Stuff #1 Autoflower Fem.

Hi everyone, my first indoor grow, day 3. Led is 36w (3w per. Led). Inside temps 75-80. Humidity good. Thanks to everyone here for the amazing information. Still have some slight seals i have to fix. Two plants, might add another 36w led in 30 days, pot size will be 1.4L (should I go a little bit bigger?). I'm new to this, for the most part. I have grown a few dirt bag seeds outdoors when I was a teen, only had males, some stolen. Plus I'm coming back to cannabis after a very long layoff, job requirement. So two plants, should be more than enough, an ounce would be amazing. Pics are in my signature, I can't seem to add here, but their in my album, sorry. Any helpful comments or criticisms are welcome.

Well, it's day 4, not much growth, looks basically the same, I can see another two sets of leaves starting, very tiny. Tips of leaves have a slightly yellow color. I'll get a pH meter soon, the pH levels might be restricting it's nutrient intake (I think). Or I just have a really slow strain lol. I'll post an updated picture later.

Howdy ripper. I'll come along for the ride if you dont mind. Do you have any pictures of the burned leaf tips? I would suspect that your nutes are too strong for such small plants. What kind of soil are you using? Perhaps just give straight water for a week and see how it goes. Good luck though!

Nutes

Hi Baker, thanks for joining. I'm not using any additional nutes, just water, plan was to start using some nutes about a month in. Not sure about the NPK of the soil but its ingredients are Granular culture soil, pumice stone, vermiculite, perlite, slow release fertilizer. I was thinking it's either too strong for the small seedlings or the pH is off and restricting the roots from up taking the nutes. Also today I moved them into bigger pots 1.4L, as the big root was growing out the bottom of the cups and I kinda freaked out lol. I'll upload some pics in 9 or so hrs.

Now in the 1.4L pots, soil raised to the lower leaves. I'll be testing pH sometime tomorrow. Really hoping it's a pH issue and not nute burn.

Youd be better off IMO to have nute burn than a ph issue. Easier to solve at least. So maybe the soil was a little hot, you cant help that now, but trust me the plants will grow used to it, and they will stop burning. Pay attention to your newest leaves for signs of a cease in burned tips...

And yeah, id say that is almost assuredly nute burn

Thanks Baker, I just assumed that I could do a flush if it was pH, didn't think I could change anything about too hot soil. But now I'm glad you think it's hot soil lol, and that it'll get used to it. Thanks again, I'll try and post some more pics later. Feel like it's Christmas morning when I wake up and open my PC to see progress lol.
