The plot is in a field and has nearby streams and a creek. I've not ever really had problems with animals digging using the plant tone/garden tone. Every once in a while, but they never dig very much. I keep using it.

To reduce the chance of damage, dig and amend 2 weeks before panting, and its good to top the holes off with plain soil to "cap" in the fertilizer smell".

At harvest a woodchuck or something tore apart some of my plants. Buds flew everywhere, he must have been happy. That was due to late pollination and lots of seed.

Plot is doing well today. I planted a week ago digging and planting all at once. I know its against the rules. I'm a busy man! Soil conditions were just dry enough to dig, but if you got down too far in some spots it was wet. Dad always told me the old wisdom is to try and get them in the ground soon, even if conditions aren't right. It rains all the time. The spot retains moisture obviously. Theres the head of a little field drainage brook nearby. Perfect habitat for a water needy cannabis.

When choosing a plot try to get one with east sun to dry the buds out in the morning reducing mold. Afternoon shade is good to keep the plants cooler on those hot days and conserve moisture in the soil.

Inspections should be done weekly if possible to optimize plant performance. Every 2-4 weeks for sure to keep weeds and overgrowth of native plants down.

I'm in the northern climate around 42n, and my question is would the month and a half or so of veg be enough to justify my planting? I'm thinking they have a chance. I'm not expecting a pound per plant, maybe like 3-5? The strain is blackberry kush and from what I've seen it usually does 8 per plant outdoors. Are my estimates reasonable or outlandish? Thank you for the help

dont use drywall. if its from some ye old building great but not the modern stuff, full of fire retardants and other shit that will leach in to the water table, believe we have specialist landfill sites just for it. im using chicken grit/oyster shells for calcium, takes few months to kick in through.

this is the best time to take out clones, for seeds its a lil late but if they are a few weeks old than still very good.

june, july... 2 month pure growth left, some strains has even 3 months till flowering.

Here in good old us of a they use fiberglass as the fire retarder no chemicals. The fire retarder they save for our pillows,in case your head bursts into flames.

Yes you have plenty of time. Even if you are starting seeds out now. I just germinated 144 yesterday and probably 144 again tomorrow (nursery trays with 72 cells per tray).

I don't stop germinating until around the middle of august, if I have time on my hands sometimes I will even germinate towards the beginning of September. But growing late is something you just have to get accustomed to. You will learn from experience, just experiment and know that when planting late numbers should be increased. Smaller plants are also more secure and stealthier as well.

If you are only doing 8 then put lots of focus and love into those 8 and transplant from a solocup or nursery tray, to a 1 gallon container then to there final destination as transplanting often and correctly will give enormous growth spurts.

And for those of you wondering about clones, it is definitely not too late for those at all.

Blackberry Kush is suppose to be a great outdoor plant, yields well and is mold resistant. Although I have seen a few people complain about the potency is all. I am running a similar strain this year outdoors (only similar by name) called Blackberry OG by Emerald Triangle seeds. Great yielder, decently potent, has amazing bag appeal and also mold resistant.

Refer to my last post made to Dday... It is not too late nor is it near too late. I used to think the same until I quit listening to what everyone else had heard from everyone else and become experienced with planting "late" myself.

too late or too early depends on what is the ideal plant size... with errrday watering they still can be giants.

guerilla outdoors the best plant size is smaller than 1 pound per plant.

seedplants are easier to manage but clones produce more buds on a same sized plant because of their bushy structure.

Thanks man I appreciate your input! I have been reaching a lot of mixed conclusions and not really finding any documented grows started around this time. From the few I have found they match exactly what your saying. Very reassuring to know my cat didn't ruin my entire year, only my quest for monsters lol.
