2 of the plants were having a phosphorus issue in the beginning.I know thats what it was.brown spots and purpling under the leaves. All the environmental variables were good so i started to investigate. My grow bottle had 3 inches of hard junk on the bottom so im thinking it was all the phosphorus. Also could have been the roots were a little slow to get down into the water also but im thinking it was the bottle.hrew it away and opened a brand new one and checked for a hard clump in bottom.I also didnt mix but a quarter strength when i put the plants in so looking at the situation as a whole i knew what it had to be.2 days ago i drained the buckets and mixed everything at half strength.all these are by the gallon.3 ML calmag,1 mL floralicious plus,i ML rapid start and 2ML floranova grow.In 48 hours these plants look alot better now PPM is around 530 and rose up to 560 but the PH isnt dropping and no tip burn yet so im gonna wait an extra day and see whats up.Normally i would back off but since the PH is slowly rising i think they are OK.Once they get to the 5th nodes they will start jumping.Im going to top them at the 7th and use the 14 Main tops for bud sites and get rid of all the rest of the small stuff for the scrog.14 x 3 is right around 42 tops for a 3.5x5 foot screen so with 600W i think that will be good.Im really looking more for a keeper pheno here and not so much all out grow.If i can find a good keeper im going to run them again under the 1000W 6 bucket setup and really see what they can do.Normally by day 21 they are jumping.you can see a little bit of the phos issue on the left plant. The right one i cut off the bad leaves and the problem has went away completely on all 3.The middle plant is really stout and fat. |

14 days 2-weeks
Looks like the phosphorus issue is gone now.Nothing weird to report.Ph at 5.8 and they drank a gallon in 3 days.I have a measuring stick in my top off res that has marks on each gallon so i know exactly what is in there and how much goes missing. PPM is right around 540 and i have no reason to change it at this point.Growth is fast as usual and no leaf burns or curls.Once they get topped i may up the PPM to 750 by adding a little more floranova grow but ill have to see. With the res it will be easy to transistion a higher dose.If these plants are as good as people say they are i will bring it out in them. |

i love the Scotts Og, my keeper is just straight lemon pinesol og, grows lanky as hell
I have just finished a pack of rugburn last month and i did find 1 exceptional ..think og with slightest of berry hint, nice solid nugs and looks great bag appeal, little bit of purple hues in nug, more sold frame than scotts for sure |

I put the 45L air pump on them a couple days ago but switched back to the 70.I feel like the 70 was causing the chiller to stay on more but i need the Dissolved oxygen in the water so i put the 70 back.i dont feel like the 45 is enough for the way im gonna push these plants.I noticed some slight leaf tip curl on one of them so im not gonna raise the ppm at all.I will keep it where it is for the next week.

Ive noticed that they are showing slight signs of nutes being a little high so im going to back off some.A little bit of tip curl and spots on the leaves.Slight calcium issue and nutes are to high.I added 4 gallons to the res and ph'ed it to 300PPM.The main res is running around 620 now and thats to high.Since they are drinking half gallon a day now the res will slowly reduce the PPM in the main system and well go from there. normally i would leave it cause the bigger the plants get the more they need the higher PPM and they grow in to that PPM range. |

20 days
Talk about liking to grow these things are getting there Another week if that ill be putting the screen across the top of them.PPM is still hovering around 600 even after im adding in half of that each day so im gonna drain them all out tomorrow and refill the system and add the nutes in to hit 450 which is where i think they really need to be.Than ill watch them for 24 hrs and decide what to put in the topoff res.No complaints.Cant wait to see how the flowers sgtart to look when they get switched. Middle one is topped and about 2 more nodes to go on the outside ones. |
