Website plans?
Just wondering if Breeders Retails plans to have a website or something similar coming soon. I've been wanting to try some Chimera and Cultivators Choice stuff for a while now but find it a little tricky navigating through all the threads here to try and find the information I need to determine if a strain is suitable for me or not.
I know Chimera likes to do things a little differently and the grow reports here are generally very positive but the lack of definitive and discrete information about the strains holds me back from making a purchase. I feel the more knowledge and information given about the strain empowers the grower to make better choices and get better results. Especially coming from a Science background I would have thought that sharing data and information would have been the order of the day here. But it seems were kept a little in the dark at times... A nice website can be a real pleasure that's for sure. I think it was stated elsewhere in here that the cost savings in not having a website could be passed onto the seed buyers in the form of discounts and promos...
Personally I don't mind a bit of mystery and I think seed variety descriptions are often over simplified for flower times etc etc. Loads of good pictures and info from the growers in this forum who are friendly and approachable for Q?s and Khalbhairav has done a great job in collating infos for the sticky section above.Honestly I think any variety you buy will serve you well as long as you choose your preferred types. Not in disagreement with your post at all really but the balance of discounts vs website is working well at the moment imo.

Yeah some of the standard stock even without the great promos they offer here are pretty good value so if that means no website then fair enough.
I guess I'm the kinda guy who likes drooling at pretty pictures and strain descriptions all day long. Gotta love that eye candy! Lots of pretty pictures here too and a big thanks also to Khalibhairav for collating all the info. Just a sometimes things are a little bit over the place and not easily found for quick reference. For me anyway. Peace |

Chimera gives you all you need to know, trust him and you shall be rewarded many times over. He also tends to use Canadian Strains on a lot of crosses that may not be well known to the rest of the world but are known intimately by him through hard work and testing them thoroughly or he wouldn't use them. There's enough info on them if you look hard enough. This may not be the answer you were looking for but please don't take what you read as gospel by most seed producers. Just message Chimera (get that post count up over 50 and you can message after 24 hours) and let him know what you're looking for and he won't steer you wrong (he may even enlighten you a bit on what you want to know). It might take a few days as he's as busy as anyone you can imagine but he'll usually get back to you. Peace, KF |

Yeah I'm fairly new to all this online stuff. Actually I've been pretty happy with most of the stuff I got from other breeders and the end result usually comes close to the product description. The was one Reeferman purchase however that seemed to be something completely different but was nice bud anyway. Peace |

It's time for a revolution, but probably not in the terms that people imagine it. The word conjures up images of— a modern day version of peasants going into the street with their pitch forks to go after the bad guy who lives in a big house and we're gonna get that son-of-a-bitch and we'll take all the stuff from him and we'll give it to the workers. That's not the kind of revolution I had in mind. I thought that it might be nice if it was handled a little bit more modern and efficient way, without people getting slaughtered. It's a matter of infiltration…The people who are in control of the media, the government that run the lives of the average person in the street. They aren't doing a good job 'cause they don't really care. The potential is there in the younger generation. Right now they’re not really interested. Their political involvement is on a very superficial basis. They go out for the social aspects of a march or a rally rather than for what it could possibly accomplish. -FZ |
