Unfortunately there is people still looking for synthetic cannabinoid alternatives...WHY????
![]() Cannabinoid type 1 receptor (CB1) bioligand with therapeutic potential for withdrawal syndrome in chemical dependents Cannabis sativa. ChemMedChem. 2017 Apr 17;: Authors: Melim LH, Ferreira JV, Chaves GA, Marino BLB, Sousa KPA, Souza LR, Brito MFB, Teixeira HRC, Silva CHTP, Santos CBR Abstract Cannabis sativa withdrawal syndrome is characterized mainly by psychological symptoms. Using computational tools, the aim was to propose drug candidates based on natural ligands of the cannabinoid type 1 receptor (CB1), where only the molecule ZINC1730183 showed a positive prediction for the human CB1 receptor and easy synthetic prediction of accessibility. Therefore, this molecule proves to be a favorable proposal, suggesting the continuation of this research as a pharmacotherapeutic alternative to the withdrawal syndrome of C. sativa dependent chemists. And we already have a molecule capable of binding the CB1.
Why should I look for something similar? |

Whole genome-wide expression profiling upon stress
First real steps into the gene X environment interactions, a.k.a. epigenetics in Cannabis!
Love this stuff ![]() Whole genome-wide expression profiles of hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) in response to drought stress Drought stress is the main environmental factor influencing hemp growth and yield. However, little is known about the response mechanism of hemp to drought stress. A total of 44.10 M tags and 8.91G bases were sequenced in the control hemp (CK) and drought stress hemp (DS) libraries. A total of 1292 differentially expressed genes (DEGs), including 883 up-regulated genes and 409 down-regulated genes, were identified. more... Organism: Cannabis sativa Type: Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing |
