Heya Bog, i was thinking, we have all seen the wonderfull pics of your grows using your tried and true simple methods in soil.
Why not try your strains yourself in hydro? I know you go above and beyond any other breeder when it comes to helping people grow your strains, it would be nice for ya to be able to help us do it in hydro, and to see the lovely pics of you doing it in hydro !

That being said, i have my bubblers setup , playing with some bagseed at the moment, being my first solo grow, i wanted to practice on some stuffs before my BoG medley got here hehe. But i got some comfy lil netpots waitin for em when they get here

I don't think BOG seems like a Hydro guy. I could be wrong, but with the results he gets why change?

yea, sometimes lookin at bogs pics i get a woody lol. hes done some amazing stuff with his strains in soil, which is one of the reasons id love to see what he could do in hydro, like a simple bubbler setup.

I think it would also give him a better idea of his strains capabilities with so many customers using hydro, he could develop strains specifically that perform well for that customer base

First of all you can have hydro organic, and btw way do you say that out of exsperiance or ignorence? I dont want to sound hostile but I have had plenty of fine tasting herb from chem hydro its just a matter of proper flushing, and its just nonsence to say that the nutes have anything to do with the high.

It would be like any other normal grow with hydro or soil but i would think that it would be easier to control in hydro with all the balancing that could be done If done correctly.

Our gift is hardy and able to grow in just about any shit.

If you grow pot you are cool with me cause you have balls enough to do it at least.

Organic hydro is a fine way to go and flushing does remove chemmy smells but many associate hydro with either bad tastes or as the best pot. Neither is true of course.

We all know that each plant and grower is an individual and the pride a grower takes makes all the difference. I greatly admire the hydro growers and I never put them down. They produce more in less space and it makes perfect sense. For myself I am just old and set in my ways.

People need to specialize and I chose to see what I could do using the simplest methods. My goal has been to start new growers more than to teach commercial growers how to yield the most. I want to encourage small growers by showing how easy it is to get top notch herb in a simple way indoors.

Hydro isn't hard but consider me a fisher of men. I lure people into growing by showing it as easy and simple. Since this is my primary intent growing in hydro would be self defeating. My son may choose to change over some day however.

For my seed breeding I feel that making seeds organically in soil is a plus in the marketing scheme also but in reality I just do what I have learned over a lifetime of growing and I am content to stick with being the finest indoor soil grower in the world so why delve into your areas. BOG

Well said BOG. Why change something thats not broken. Sure it would be nice to see but with his yeilds why change anything.

i dont think the original post wanted BOG to totally convert to hydro. He was just saying why not try a little hydro setup and see how they turn out.

I agree with both sides. It would be nice to get some help from BOG about his strains in hydro, but BOG is also the FUCKING KING of soil grows, so why change?

Being a newbie hydro grower with some Lifesaver that just started, it would be nice to get some help from BOG. But there are also tons of other people who HAVE grown the strains in almost everyway possible and it seems like everyone is always ready to help another grower in need. And THAT is what keeps the community growing (haha get it?)

so if you have a hydro question, just ask Ive never had a problem getting an answer to a question i had about anything.
