Hi, I'm switching to organics for my next grow. I was doing some research, and I keep seeing people recommending molasses. Are these molasses of any specific type, or is it just regular, "human", sweet-tasting molasses? This may sound like a dumb question but how am I supposed to know without asking, right?

Hello,

You can buy human consumption molasses (unsulphered blackstrap is best) at the grocery store or you can get animal grade unsulphered blackstrap molasses buy the gallon ata feed store.

And if you dont want to mess with any of the raw stuff I know Alaska brand StartUp 2-1-2 has lots of molasses in it.

GET THE MOLLASIS

publix,kroger near you, you got it. look for GRANDMA'S BLACKSTRAP MOLLASIS on the suryp aile(the same used by 3LB). it does wonders for youre plants along with wormcastings. just started using the 2 along with LIQUID KARMA and PBP and my plants look ggggRRRReeeaaatt,,,,,,,,,dwtc

I just went to the feed store and paid 18.00 for 5 gallons. Much more for your money. the grocery store charges 3.75 for a little bottle and it only lasts me 1 wk. I too just started using it and I love it already.

Hello all,

I just started to use dry molasses and I think it works just as well if not better- it seems my teas are more frothy using the dry.

I bought 10# for about 20 bux shipped.

I know its a better deal then buying 14 ounce jars. Works well with my tea peperation- a butter tub of EWC/vegi compost, a butter tub of bat guano (3-10-1), a butter tub of molasses. I spoon all the dry ingredients into the gallon milk jug and set to bubble. To this I have been adding 12cc/gallon of liquid kelp with humic acid.
