To steal was to injure your neighbor; prohibition has caused great injury and one that is not recoverable from and they have only added insult to injury.

It's not a war on a plant, its a a war on the impoverished (poor people) and they have succeeded. So now I wait for God to deal with them.

the joke is the reality that the people that represent the cannabis sub culture actually have more POTENTIAL power than the small percentage hold such powerful influence over the government

The reason is the small percentage is empowered with desire to do so and well groomed to pull it off.

People accept some bullshit binary reality that states the government and the people are in unmovable static positions and to expect progress or change is delusional.

Ironic since the only constant is change and with change you either adapt (progress) or you don't (failure). To accept legal at an accepted cost of a different segment of people going to jail or impoverished is just bullshit, except for those who believe they have something to gain.

Seeds could planted in every judge's backyard across the land.

Maybe when they get busted they'll get rid of the stupid laws.

Shit always slides faster downhill downhill.

There was a group of activists in Holland that used Theatre to great effect. I forget their name. Sort of like a Cannabis-ized version of Monty Python. in Holland in the 70's.

I day-dream about building a social space with REALLY GOOD ventilation so people sitting at a table in a restaurant are the only people who know if cannabis is being smoked at their table. Might need a few ferns to add to the Privacy factor.

It may be illegal for 5000 people to light up in a shopping center - but if nobody smells the smoke and nobody sees anybody outside their group smoke, what's the deal ?

You would need a LOT of ferns.

I like the "OK to smoke cannabis here" type spaces. One of the dispensaries in SF did that in the 00's.

It would be interesting if you could teleport 10,000 people from a Boulder CO 4-20 smoke-fest to another public space where the cops are more uptight. Like a mall in LA - or Singapore.

Notice I'm NOT getting on a plane to go smoke pot in Singapore

Realistically for the war to end there has to be a cessation of hostilities and as far as the government is concerned that's only going to happen when they've either destroyed all intoxicating substances, completely removed the desire for people to consume them or failing that have an absolute monopoly on the market.

Simply put there's never going to be an end to the war that results in us having the freedom we deserve unless we fight for it and the only way to do that is with money. Every time we force them to move a muscle it costs money which eats away at their budget and once it's all gone so is their motivation for dealing with small time bullshit like cannabis. So how do you force a reaction without martyring yourself? Make seed bombs and purposefully put them in very public spaces such as schools, parks, sides of highways, etc. where their presence makes the police look incompetent and forces an immediate reaction from them which isn't going to be a matter of just ripping them up and binning them. They're going to need to photograph and document everything, preserve the evidence, etc. which all costs a lot of money and if it needs to be done multiple times after every time it rains their budgets are going to be very quickly BTFO chasing seedlings that they know can't be being grown for a bit of smoke but absolutely must deal with immediately all the same.

Now obviously they're going to get a yearly budget increase but given a few years of them chasing seedlings everyone knows aren't even being grown for consumption while all the other drug related problems are getting worse and the public is going to say enough is enough. They'll be seen as incompetent money sinks and legalization will be seen as the only viable alternative because it will instantly put an end to the madness while generating a profit. Now since the government will expect to have a monopoly on the market that means there's no room for us which regardless of their declaration of ending the war I consider a continuation of hostilities. I also have no doubt that they'll expect black market prices so we need to double down and continue the public seed bombing to remind the public it's called weed because of how easily it grows and how the prices they're charged should reflect that.

Now even if it's a complete failure and they keep us out of the market, continue to wage war against anyone that steps outside of their monopoly, etc. forcing them to chase seedlings in the meantime means that they have less time and resources to come after us directly. They can't keep getting budget increases forever and even if they could they'd be up against people armed with seeds and dirt who've the intention of making them fear the rain and there's no winning against that no matter how much money you throw at it.
