Michoacan Cream Update
Hello all, I have to say I really like these genetics. With very little sun the last month between rain and smoke from fires in Montana. While some of the growth rate of bud has been slower. The genetics themselves have proved to be very strong. This has been a less than desirable season for growing cannabis outside. CBG I hope you hang onto this strain. It has the potential to be a great producer in northern latitudes. I look forward to running her again.
Peace

Well with just a week of sunshine. I have branches hanging to sides all over. I will have to tie some up after lunch today. The Michoacán's have gained weight. I can't see the tops as they are very tall. I hope they have good trichome production up there. Peace

Michoacan Cream Plant #1 harvest
Hello all, Here is a couple of pictures of one of two Michoacán Creams I grew out this season. There was very little sunshine here the entire month of September. I feel all of the genetics would have filled out much better with a little more sun. In the end I'm very happy with the results of these two plants. Since I'm growing outdoors (greenhouse) at the Canadian Border. First pistils were at August 17th and harvested on October 21st. These could've gone longer but the weather was very overcast and getting cold quick. There is several inches of snow on the ground now and it's here to stay.
The weight of just the buds on this plant is 8.3 Oz's. I don't do a real fine manicure of buds during curing. I feel this helps protect the buds during the cure. I shake them around to get air gaps between buds to help drying. I love these genetics! CBG, this plant is a real gem. The aroma is incredible. The genetics are strong, robust in cooler weather. I hope these genetics are around for a long time. They will be in my garden for some time to come. I won't have a smoke report until they have cured for some time yet. I will give Quart jars of these buds out for Christmas presents. Ho Ho Ho! Peace

Geneva sativa, I certainly will post that up later. I may have a tester do an early report just to satisfy my own curiosity. These plants are so sticky, even the small twigs are covered in trichomes. They won't smoke as well as the buds. But they may be equally as strong. The more time I spend trimming these buds for curing. The more excited I become for growing them out again next season. I hope to get a plant that's a little more Indica dominant or at least 50/50. A week shorter flowering time for my greenhouse with no blackout system would be ideal. I'm strongly thinking of doing a cross with an Original Sour Cheese or a Sour Diesel. The Michoacán Cream and the Peyote Purple are great foundations to start with. (quality, color and strength). Anyway just some thoughts from a snow bank in North Dakota. Enjoy your harvests, be safe. Peace

Hello, over Christmas I gave out several jars of buds. At three months of curing the Michoacan felt very fry to the touch. When you squeezed gently the sticky resin became obvious. I should have some reports back soon from testers. Wishing you a great new year. Peace
