Michoacan Cream

I'm really enjoying these ladies. I didn't end up going with any Mangobiche x Peyote Purple this season. Here is a picture of the two ladies I have right now. This second picture is of my Purple Mexican. Thanks again CBG for these genetics. I truly enjoy and am thankful to have them. Well I may as well post my other two CBG strains. This is my Peyote Purple. This is a fan leaf from one of my Destroyers. This being Thai dominant. The last picture would be Colombian/Mexican dominant. I hope you all have a great week. Enjoy the grow. Peace

Update

I just wanted to share an updated picture of the Michoacán Cream. So far these plants are everything I could have expected or hoped for. Good growth, endure heat very well and have a pleasing aroma. These plants are special. Peace

I'm looking into it for the next season. This looks like more indica leaning pheno, but I love this branching. Heat resistance is also a must for me, so glad to find out she does well in it.

Michoacan Cream Observations

Geneva Sativa, Conradino 23 Thanks for the kind words. Here is some more pictures of the Michoacán Cream and I will enter some observations from my notes. Peace

A" is the taller of the two plants. B" is on the left and is a foot shorter.
A" is on the 14th node of growth and most leaf bracts are smaller than hand size. The sun leaves are 8" to 9" long and 1 1/2" wide. A" has mostly 11 leaf sets with shorter thinner leaves. Some lower leaves are dropping but none are brown and dying.
The aroma is slightly woody with a light floral scent.
Plant B" has a sticky meristem with a stronger citrus, floral aroma. The fan leaf sets are much larger. The leaves are 12" long and 3" wide. Most of B" is a medium green color. Some inner and outer leaf sets vary between lighter and darker green. The plant is robust in all aspects. The majority of lateral branch leaf bracts are hand sized. (7,8,9 leaf set) are common over entire plant. Greenhouse temps are at 95 degrees f. Overall both plants are happy and healthy.
I really like this offering from CBG. This plant is a pure joy to grow. I will have this in my line up for some time to come.
Thank you CBG, Peace

@farmerlion

i'm also looking into planting Michoacan cream next year (if CBG will still provide the seeds). Can you give me some insight about flowering time? Purple mexican will start to flower here in about one week/ten days...can you compare Michoacan to PurpleMex when they start to flower (in terms of...which starts to flower earlier or how much is the difference between those two) ? I'd really like to know if i can pull it off here

Thanks for contributing all the photos and info! Much appriciated.

Michoacan Cream update

Bleiweis, I have two plants of the Michoacán Cream and of the Purple Mexican going right now. One of my Purple Mexicans had pistils on her today. Neither of the Michoacán plants have pistils yet. All four plants are covered in new growth. I expect all four plants to be in flowering by the end of the week.
Michoacán Cream plants. I really like these genetics, It would be great to have them in a feminized format.
This is the Purple Mexican plants. I can't say enough about both of these offerings from CBG. They are truly special. One of my test smokers drove two hours just to see these plants. I would say from what I've seen the Michoacán Cream's will start flowering a week later than the Purple Mexican plants do.
I try to stay up on watering and ventilation. With long days of work this gets out of hand at times. These genetics from CBG are very strong and resilient to unintentional neglect. I will certainly be getting more of each. Thank you CBG for making these available.
Peace
