Sweetest Sativa f2/s1 grow
Hi y'all
Years ago, when I was just getting into the scene and looking for advice on strains, a friend of mine through ICmag steered me in the direction of Chimera, to Sweetest Sativa. He had grown every strain under the sun and really helped me understand the various lines that were available, the history of them and the strengths of the breeders associated. He respected Chimera, so I obtained several varieties. I grew Sweetest Sativa three years ago. But I was most interested in the F2s because that is what my friend raved about. He said this was the only example he knew of where the f2 generation is even better than the parents. Knowing nothing, I made a bunch of f2. Then I heard from Chimera, to make sure I made seeds from sweetest sativa. He said "I guarantee you'll like what pops up in the second generation" or something like it. So not only did I make f2s, I also experimented with making S1s (is that what I call them?). I successfully reversed the most hazy female from my crop and got about 50 female seeds. So I am just getting around to cracking the f2s to see what they bring. I also have some Simply Irresistible that are going in the dirt next month. I decided to start with some S1s, and I have two girls that just entered flowering. They are so very different. I thought you might like to see them. I will update once in a while, up to a smoke report. As you can see, one is very tall and completely purple. The other is short, green and has been incredibly bushy. I have removed more from each plant than remains. They are in a tent that is crowded, and so they need to be lollipopped a little to survive. They are as different as two plants can get! I have no idea why the picture is rotated. It isn't that way on my computer, and I have been trying to take care of it, but can't figure out how! But they are actually growing vertically, not sideways.
