For either side to win the war it must come to an end for both sides. There must be a complete cessation of hostilities or by definition it's still being fought. Now given that for every rule that needs enforcing there needs to be an enforcer, a passer of judgment, someone to ensure the punishment is seen through, etc. every rule you allow creates a massive financial incentive to collect on it.

I don't know about you but personally I don't see how we can claim to have won when the government will still have financial incentive to police us. To me it sounds like legalization is merely going from locking us all up to only locking those up the government can't shake down. I consider that a loss for our side so the way I see things if there's a single rule they can enforce against the general populations ability to freely cultivate we're still at war.

ALL the laws that could land you in a cell are either to do with collecting taxes or ensuring community safety standards like not selling to children or driving under the influence. The limits put on personal production are absurd and would easily kill an alcoholic elephant on the daily and never involve licensing, tap to lip tracking, random invasions of privacy, limits on where we can brew, etc. with heavy fines and potential prison time for failure to comply. I can't say I agree with there being a limit in the first place but eventually a line between personal and commercial production has to be drawn and as long as it's an equally absurd number for cannabis I'm totally ok with the government treating it the same as they do alcohol.
