Dry Salt Users: Please Critique My Recipe

INGREDIENTS
  • Peters 5-11-26 Hydroponic Special
  • Yara Calcinit
  • Epsom Salt

CANNASTATS PREMIXPPM PROFILE

After reading YosemiteSam for hours I tried to work with what I have and get as close to the K:N ratio of 2:1 and K:Ca:Mg of 4:3:1 as I have seen him suggest. I really like YosemiteSam's philosophy on Calcium levels.

Like Yosemite I am running in pure coco. While he was running trees, I am trying Ebb and Flow with this setup.

Any suggestions? Any alarmingly obvious issues you can see?

I plan to run this up until the end of stretch and then I need to find a way to increase P up to maybe around 70 and would like to leave K where it is at but I am not seeing how I can increase P without increasing K.

Maybe I will just run the whole grow this way and towards the end of flower slowly decrease the calcinit levels.... I dunno this is still a work in progress.

I also would like to find a way to get some more Silica in there but from what I have read it can mess with PH big time.

Anyways - what do you guys think?

Silica is going to add a lot of K, too, assuming you use potassium silicate. I think that was a problem yosemitesam cited with it in coco.

I just ended up spraying the Ksil and keeping it out of the res.

Good idea on the foliar spray - would you say ksil is a good product for that? What wetting agent do you use?

Speaking of K, what is the general max limit you should have in your profile? I can't seem to find YS talking about this

This is the most up to date profile I found him mention here - anyone have any idea what happened to him or if he is posting elsewhere now?

I run elemental N-P-K-Ca-Mg at 100-75-75-110-40 and add a little more Ca as an amendment. I do that through stretch and then, based on what I see, give occasional bumps of mpk. I use CaNO3, ammonium phosphate (to control media pH vs the alkalinity of my water), epsom salt, mpk, a micro package called STEM, a little iron dpta and a little Zn edta.

Taste and plant health (brix) improve a bunch and you see a lot more fall colors other than yellow at the end. Yield does not increase cause you aren't jamming nitrates down the plants throat

Any advice on increasing my P without increasing K?
