Thanks for the idea mate but even though my spot gets 5-6 hours of direct sunlight daily and lots of wind, it is an urban grow and that means a couple of things:
1. They are close to people, even if they can't see them. I have some Sweet Skunk and Cream Caramel right now... and i can't smell anything unless i rub my fingers on them. Something stinky could bring a few curious noses around... but then again i don't know how stinky they could be...
2. They won't grow to their full potential. I have a size restriction. Not just vertical but also horizontal restriction. It's quite simple: I don't want the neighbours to even suspect i'm growing.
3. I'll be travelling for a week during summer. They might decide to grow like crazy or die of dehydration before i come back. Can't commit to being a tester if I can't do a proper job.

btw.
you can provide some water with a blumat-system, i dont know, they sell it here in garden centers. With some plastikbottles and 2-3 of these you can also water in an urban grow without much efforts . The system works on membran so no energy is needed. water pressure is provided by the difference of height of the bottle and the ground.

or build something yourself wich works like this.... like make the openerthing of the bottle drip slowly, with a hot needle for example and put it in the ground next to the plant with the openerthing forward into the ground

This is what my autos look like right now. I germinated them some time at the end of February. We had crazy good weather for that time of the year ... then I had a week or two of clouds and cold. Thought they'd never grow. They started flowering around Easter and have doubled in size. They've stopped stretching and in 4-5 weeks they'll be ready to harvest. They are really small and i hope i get more than 10 joints out of them.

I don't have the best conditions for the impressive buds most seedbanks want.

I'll think about it and maybe ask what they think about a small late season grow.

Thanks for reply.

I understand your point about the Sexbud. But the name is just a name, you can think it as "it helps finding your Sex bud" but trust me, we heard all sorts of feedbacks on the name from several people...nothing surprises us anymore.
Besides this, its the genetics that matters. As I mentioned above is Sexbud normally takes between 8-10 weeks, pretty fast indeed. And according to our experience, I can tell you that a few growers harvested their plants around the 11th week! Above all it reacts very good to feed.
It is not an extreme strong smoke but it relaxes and smoothly let you do your activities.
It can grow both Indoor and Outdoor, we even run a Outdoor competition one year ago and people sent us great pictures of the Sexbud. I will see if I can post a few in the next days

This was an indoor grow. It really needs strong ventilation. But if you know that, you can't resist this strain. I am testing some hybrid i made out of the showen plant and a purple haze thai male. I personally would never buy a strain named Sex Bud. That name is a little bit to cheese for my taste besides I know a lot of strains which increase anykind of pleasures.
On the other hand it sounds like an awesome indoor strain.

I am growing some maroc at the moment. And of course there is always at least one grapefruit cut in every grow i run


Hi Gantz,

back in the days I grow outdoor in south germany - I guess the climate is not the same but familiar. I guess grapefruit would tend to mold outdoor, its a heavy yielder with dense buds!
It also smells strong!

I remember Sensis Northern Lights to be low on odor but very strong in the high. Maybe female seeds have some as well? It's good seed quallity for a good price.

Thanks for your honesty. I understand what you mean, is not easy to grow in the conditions you just exposed and unfortunately it is a problem many people have to deal with.

I sincerely hope that the Autos you are growing will finish in a nice way and that you will have a great harvest too.

Did someone say SexBud?

I am currently micro growing c99, blueberry cheesecake, and SexBud.


The SB and BC are at day 65, the ,C99 is at day 61. My lights are 11/13 and I grow organically. The SB and the C99 smells very similar, with the SB being more pugent. The SB is also the frostiest of the three. I will post recent pics later today of each strain. The one on here is a week old.

Also, the BC and SB can handle overfeeding very well. The C99 has some brown tips.

Love your micro-grow, looking really good
Sexbud can be considered an improved version of the C99, for many aspects. Personally I like the taste and the smell, such an intense odour of fruit pending always on the pineapple/peach side.
It is also very resinous, even more than C99 and to us, some phenotypes give a tropical appearance too.
And finishes 1 or 2 week sooner than C99 too

What about the Blueberry CC and its smell?
