Hi mate
sorry for the late response, just found this post. I've used the 800W version. Real power draw on this one is 140W. I managed to pull off 5oz of super strong WW buds + 1oz of trim, all from 3 plants and it was my first grow. Buds were a bit fluffy (not as dense as one might know from other strains and/or growing methods). I allowed the plants to stretch too much - Light coverage is not that great (probably good for 2x2, and I had it in 3.5x3.5 tent), so I had to keep the light higher than ideal. These days I use this particular light for veg period, meanwhile I bought a ViparSpectra600W (280W draw) and KingLED 900W (240W real draw). I would say that many of those cheap Chinese lights (bestVA, Bossled, Kingled and whatnot) are all coming from the same place, and the most important aspect when buying would be "RealPowerDraw(Watt) per dollar spent". Cheap is cheap, but don't expect extraordinary from cheapos. Hope this helps still. |

I've got 2 1200 bestva leds, so far I've only got one doing veg and I've been really impressed by it. I've been growing with CFL so it's arguable that that I would be impressed with any light change though.
Inside the packaging they both came with instruction books printed by King led, I found it much easier finding reviews and a few you tube videos on these, they look identical. My CFL batch is getting harvested next week and my vegging plants will be going in under both of these LEDs, then I'll have a better idea of how they go. I'm really exited to see it. |
