Yes 3 puny plants can really stink up a whole house. Especially if those are real good jack herers. When my carbon was getting used up, I've smelled 1 plant in mid flower out in the street in front of my house. You get smell blind to it too. Others will smell it when you can't smell anything because you are used to it. Circulating air with filter will help but odor control will be 10x's better if you were using negative pressure in side a tent. Without a tent, you'll need to figure out how to light proof that hole at the bottom of the door too. Just trying to help you out

Tks cravin. The clones were started in small pods and transplanted to a 6" pots 2 weeks after. They were in these 6 " pots for 2 weeks, then gently retransplanted in 9" pots a week ago. Pro Mix was used a shrimp addition I was told. I've been feeding them the 3 part Flora series nutrients. I have 11" pots available to me but not sure if I should replant in these. ??

What do you mean by "You need a soil grower to stop by."??

yes to a carbon filter they will stink in flowering, better safe then sorry. It dosent have to be vented outside, as long as you have negative pressure and moving the air some where else in house thru filter all should be good.

I just meant some body more well versed in indoor soil grows. I grow indoors with bio buckets hydroponics. They are 2 different techniques for growing indoors. Keep your head up buddy, your girls look healthy and happy, so you're doing good. We're just trying to tell you what we've experienced that will help you on your path... I gotta leave for a bit, but there are tons of good people willing to help out here

Appreciate your comments cravin. ok, so I don't have a tent for this grow. Perhaps on my next grow. When you say order control, are you implying venting to the outside before going through a carbon filter? I have an oil furnace close by that has a flue to a chimney. Would tapping into this flue be a good option?

Running the room air through a filter would not suffice adequately?

If you can tap into it that would work for sure, id still filter the air thru a carbon filter so no smell is going outdoors.

Tks. For a small grow of a few plants, what size blower would I need? The hose run from the room to the furnace flue would be approx 20 feet. What diameter hose would you suggest for my set up? It the blower is on a timer, how much on/off time per hour am I looking at? 5 min. per hour to get rid of the smell? Just guessing.

Honestly i would buy a 6 inch inline fan and a speed controller, vent it to the flue, run it to where you have negative pressure in the room and leave it on. once you turn it off the smell will come thru the whole house once you start flowering

oh dear, that's $200. DRATS. Perhaps, I shouldn't have accepted 3 clones as a gift! haha!I'm thinking now as I learn, I need a humidifier, blower, filter, perhaps a tent one day. It is fun I must have to admit.

You could try other odor measures for early on into your grow.

I do have carbon filtration. But the ONA Block Pro I bought for cheap works nicely for small grows.

This will help for just a few plants. They also have Ona Gel.
