I'm making some air layer cuttings on the og kush, aliens on moonshine, and arjan haze. After they root I'll be keeping the clones for new mothers, and I'll throw the mothers I took them from into flower with this run.

Here's a recent photo of her, she's a bit chopped up now because I took some more cuttings since this photo. I still have no pictures of what it looks like flowered. But I have a lot of hope it will be great. I'll refer to it from now on as farmer 12 og. The exciting part about it is that I know it's very dominant in passing on the og flavor trait. Farmer 12 is a infamous breeder here around pdx. I learned tons from this guy, and I haven't spoke with him or smoked his buds in way too long. Legalization put him in a tail spin(and everyone else in medical), but from what I hear things are getting better for him.I've seen a lot of his experimental breeding work, and he actually used to be bummed that he couldn't cross certain things with it because the progeny would only taste like Og. Lol problems of a breeder with too stable genetics.
Let me put it this way, I can go to an archive dispensary with a quick drive, I've NEVER seen anything at the archive dispensaries that can compare to the smell and flavor of this og. I love archive. Not putting down archive, they always have top shelf OGs, but they're just a watered down comparison. Archive is where I'll go to get a good Og when I'm feinding for the flavor,but hopfully I can start growing my own now
I'll attach a photo of some hazmat og and rudeboi og I picked up not too long ago from archive, both delicious og flavored. The rude boi is the bigger nug

Ok I got some more intriguing details about the og, and what I'd go through to obtain this herb.The best part is that I only found one legit seed out of...many pounds smoking it regularly for probably 3 years. I used to get a few zips of it any chance I could. He started coming to this place called the world famous cannabis cafe about 2013 or so. This place was a smoke lounge in the basement of fireplace store, lol. The dispensary was upstairs on top of the fireplace store. It is hard to call this a "dispensary". It was more like a big waiting room with a ton of couches, and a back room with a table, and the farmer of the day with all of his buds on display. Farmer 12 at first was showing up on sporadic days. So I would usually go every day to see if he was there after a while, he started coming once a week, on those days, the line to get in would be unreal. Ridiculous waiting time. The place opened at 420pm every day. The picture I include will show what the line looked like at 3pm (over an hour before they open pissing down rain).
Then at 4:20, the doors open and you go up into the waiting room.They would give you a number and sometimes you would have to wait over an hour if you showed up after they were opened. This waiting room would fill up with over 30 people from every walk of life you could expect (all races of gangbangers, hookers, college kids, old people). it became a real chore after a while to get his og because he would sell out by the time the 20th person was served. It wasn't too bad on the fact you could smoke while waiting, and they would usually give complimentary buds to blaze on. There were no limits on the amount you could buy. So I made sure to indulge when I could. The zips were only 125$. Too bad he never wanted to sell seeds. Dude had the best blue city diesel I've ever smoked, and had it in seed form unwatered down somehow. He also would grow some really good marzar I sharif, Pineapple Express, master kush, sensi star crosses. I could go all day about all the top notch buds I've smoked of his (his bubble hash was the best I've smoked hands down). After it went legal... Prices became over 200 a zip. All the good farmers went off to the new dispensaries that sell them for 280. They closed down, the cannabis cafe also shut down because new laws. Now you can't smoke or sample in dispensaries. 1gram of bho went from top shelf being 40$ bottom shelf 15$, to top shelf 100$ bottom shelf 30$
I miss when it was just medical more and more every day. Funny how different things can change so quick
To the main point though, i got super lucky that the only seed I ever found out of all of his bud, was my favorite strain of his, and it's alive and healthy so I have some high hopes for it.
