![]() Sadly, I had to get rid of anything living after i had that powder mildew problem. After the shortbread finished flowering I culled any mothers and cleaned every last square inch of everything in the rooms or near the rooms. Now that I have the 4x8 and the 4x4 both being used for veg space, I'm about ready with space to be able to keep cuts while still being able to crack into new varieties. I have a og kush(haven't seen it flower yet, just don't have more seeds of it, so a cutting of it will be the first to see 1212), aliens on moonshine, and arjan haze as mothers now(smoked samples, but I still haven't seen them flower). I will make an extreme effort to back up the stardawgxbb and candylandxbb before they go to flower now that i have a bit more veg space. It's a shame I didn't with any of the purple terps, farmers fire,or loompa goo. Because most turned out to be gems |

Not too much of a bummer. Gladly, all these strains are stable. I can always go get more seeds and see the same phenos I would like to grow again. I don't get too attached to clones, I'm more interested in good seed stock.

Just figured out a great way to water young plants(after transplant, I over watered them a bit) . It seems really easy to overwater if you dump water into the containers without a shower head, and I've never been able to find a small enough water despensing shower head container that doesn't over dump water. This seems to work great and saves TONS of time since it's small enough to fit into a jungle, so no moveing around containers to make room to water each plant. All you need is a bottle of water and a sowing needle. poke holes with a needle into the cap. Simple, cheap, and works wonders. About 20-40 holes (depending on flow rate desired)with a standard sowing needle into a cap, and now you have a dispenser that will evenly diffuse all the water into a shower stream so you'll achieve even water distribution across the soil surface and not contribute to soil compaction. Just fill the water bottle, turn it upside down, and the tension from squeezing can speed up the flow rate.

Sounds like a great simple, cheap, solution. Am I missing something in the pic though. I don't see ur watering device. all I see is a pot and thermometer. |
