I normally use pk13/14 but would like to see what else is out there that comes recommended So let me know folks What do you recommend? |

Hey bud! Glad to see the girls doing well. Have you tried defoliating previous girls, and didnt like the outcome? Just wondering ha come you dont like to take any of the fan leafs off.
Maybe try make your own feed? Order what ever you can from chemical/science/lab companies in bulk for cheap? Then hit up your local farms? I know it doesnt really help your question/problem since you wanna try something out soon haha.. But ive been looking at pricing on alot of different nutes/minerals.. 5years supply of some is same cost of bottle that last for up to a year haha!

hey dakine
i've never been a lover of defoliation,i've always looked at growing as naturally as possible (strange when its under artificial light lol) my feeling is the plants need to photosynthesis and with the loss of the fan leaves makes this impossible hell i don't even remove the tiny popcorn buds on the bottom of the plant lol i counteract the light loss by placing my 300w cfl at mid height(plants have to be rotated weekly for full benefit) so the plant has plenty of light at the lower end of the plants and with the 400w hps on the canopy seems to work out well for me the stems and bottom buds that most cut away are to me wasted this pic was of my last grow the lower of the plant produces a whole lot of bud and you'll see the bottom fan leaves still intact i guess we all have our different ways peace |

Hey gizmo, how much of an increase in temperature does the CFL add to your space? I've been floating the idea of CFL or LED supplementing underneath but I need to do something to decrease my temps before I can add more.

Hey personal
It does raise the temps but only slightly I keep my fans running at the tops of the plants ant they seem to be ok But I'm in a cold climate so that helps a bit |
