Week 9 part 1
Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. All three girls have fattened up some over the week. I have noticed that the calyxes of this strain are the most swollen, resin covered, that I've personally grown in my short time. Widow 1 Widow 1 Macro She has made some improvement in bud size and shown an improvement in trich development. She is finally starting to yellow on her lower leaves but none of them easily came off so left them alone. Since she's a little behind the others, I plan on one more flower feeding before switching to plain water for remainder. |

Week 9 part 2
Widow 2
Widow 2 Macro The "original runt" has certainly stretched. There's a small bleach spot on the top of the cola so I will remain mindful of that. Took more easy to remove yellow leaves. Did not receive any nutrients this week and will only get plain water until harvest. Widow 3 Widow 3 Macro Number 3 continues to impress. Her flowers are fat, dense, and covered in trichs. Almost zero popcorn buds. Like number 2, she got no nutrients this week and will also only get plain water until harvest. Good luck, competitors! |

Week 10
All three girls are doing very well. I had to make an adjustment to how I hang my light and opened up about another 4 or 5 inches above them. I'll get zeroed in eventually. All plants received plain, ph'ed, water. Widow 1 These buds did some fattening over the week. Looks like 3 pretty productive branches. Widow 2 This plant seems to have stretched more than the other two. My assumption is that because it started shorter than the others causing it to stretch for the light. Overall, widow 2 is coming along nicely. Buds aren't as large as the other two but as covered in trichs.... Maybe another pheno? I am very ignorant in the genetic/pheno area. Widow 3 Covered in fat, dense, trich covered buds. Looking at the trichs, they seem all or mostly cloudy but have yet to see any amber yet. Riding the idea of chopping number 3 next weekend but if I don't see any amber I may wait another week. It's the time of the grow I am licking my chops in anticipation of enjoying some white widow.
