Just kinda let them suck some water up from the bottom. Sometimes with seedlings if you top water and flood they dont have roots big enough to drink for a week or 2 so its kinda flooded and slows the inital growth\startup. Kinda keeping the dirt dry except at the bottom encourages the roots to grow through the dry dirt and reach for the water in the bottom. Then you have roots big enough to support a bigger plant fast, and you can feed heavier fast blah blah. Its not a big deal just little tips.
Sometimes I just water with a spray bottle on the top just to keep it from being dry up top, and keeps the humidity up a little in the area so the leaves can drink\breathe, then do the bottom feed thing for the root growth control side of things. You dont want tooo much air blowing on the leaves also because it dries up the humidity that the leaves use to kinda drink so they dont rely on roots so heavy for drinking. If you have high humidity its fine though because it'll balance things out. Dont change anything if its working for you though man. You got dis!

Week 3
Good root growth showing through cups. Leaves are lush green and appear happy and healthy. I will most likely transplant them next weekend, into their final 5 gallon pots. I've cleaned out the tent and cleaned the fans in preparation of the 3 widows. |

Good luck, those roots are looking healthy and vigorous. I have the non-auto fem widow in, so will be interesting to see how the autos perform.

Week 4 part 1
Been a bit of activity this week. On Tuesday, I transplanted all 3 widows into their final pots using Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil.
After completing the transplants I moved all 3 widows into a 4'x5'x2' tent where they will spend 18 hours a day under 250w hps. Had early issue with temperature settling at 85 but after reconfiguring fan set up had it at 81. Will figure a way to drop temps more when flowering starts to show. |

Week 4 part 2
I am only giving the girls tap water, ph'ed to 6-6.5, with BS molasses at 1tsp/gal. 5 days after transplant all 3 show good signs of healthy, green growth.
All three ladies getting catching some rays. I have identified one of the plants as the "runt" of the three since she's been behind in every aspect so far. I've done this because I have noted a few times where the seed/plant I think looks less likely to impress out does others that look to be fuller and growing faster. |

Week 5 part 1
I'm very happy with how green and full they are. A little LST performed to move big fan leaves away from from bud sites to increase light exposure.
1. 2 "runt". |
