Talking a sadhu in my greenhouse

hey mike,
at the beginning of the season i emailed you about the possiblities of planting sadhu in my green house, well, here it is.
i'm afraid i didn't treat your plant as well as i should have. it was repotted way too late because of lack of time. so the nlx that was groing next to it already in soil overran the greenhouse.
well. here are the pics:

your sadhu on the right:

only the sadhu

i will update into flowe if requested ,

nice bush man, when did that thing start flowering.
im hoping mine starts any day now because holland has a very rainy autumn,
it hasn't even sexed yet though.

what didd surprise me was the vigor,
the plant in my pictures was actually knawed straight in half by a mouse, i put it back together using the fibers of some rope as "needles",
and it survived well!
thats gotta mean something :P

Thanks. I'll pass it on to the grower.
I think first pistils popped out around mid-July. But this is a southern grow and not comparable to your latitude.

Holland is tough. You need auto-flowering strains to avert the worst months, or use clones that come in from 20/4 light cycle and go straight into flowering outside. Next time you start late with repotting keep the plant in a bigger container instead of in the ground. Now it's busy rooting and that can delay quick flowering too.
Anyone with the luxury of a greenhouse I would recommend to build in two ventilators, attach black plastic curtains, and use a gas heater. That way you have best climate control and can darken 12/12 for quick results.

Yeah! The Mandala's are tough. Could be that this mouse needs a new set of teeth...lol

Best of luck,
Mike

could work as a mouse repellant

sadly i won't be updating with pics for about 2 weeks,
it seems my brother borrowed my camera for his holiday without letting me know

the plants are doing fine though, i noticed a leak in the top of the greenhouse which i will have to fix but everything else is going swimmingly,
thanks for the advice too man

unfortunatly i have to report the sadhu was male, ia have a little sadhu plant i will put in its place but it wont become much anymore.

another testimony to the redicoulous vigor of this plant is that it is actually still putting out balls even now 3 days after i cut it and threw it outside, iff they flower long enough ill make some nlx x sadhu,

should be friggin sweet

chees,

Yah of my five mandala safaris i planted in March two were male and flowering by june like full blown colas of male nuts hangin down in the middle of spring. i threw em out and they kept on going for about a week. Luckilly i got two ladies of the same type and they are real winners.
