The Jack Herrer strain was named in honour of the late cannabis activist, polemicist and author of the all-time classic "The Emperor Wears No Clothes". It has become established as something of a classic marijuana strain itself combining as it does the out-there euphoric, cerebral effect of a pure sativa strain with the resin-producing qualities of a pure indica. It was originally created by Sensi Seeds by crossing a Haze with a Northern Lights #5 x Shiva Skunk cross.

Ok mates.. I see that this is creating discussion. I have been consulting this with the great man and this is the information we have:

From our understanding Jack herer is a Skunk, Haze, Nl5 cross. On this we all agree, right? ok, our version is Red Skunk (nl x shiva skunk) I believe it was a pheno that the breeder was working with but we will check..

As for comparison with SSH, willydread has already clarified it, you can do different things with the same genes involved..

i got two packs of seedsman haze for half price at an expo a few years back, the seeds came from sam skunkman stock i think
anyway i had great fun growing some out in a 2ft high LED cabinet at 10/14 light. organic soil.
fantastic smoke, absolutely no body-stone at all, just head, did a few crosses too.
shame this line is no more...

Some one used Nevil`s plants to make Jack for Sensi.While Nevil was indisposed .
He swears its his NL#5 /Hz C cup winner cut crossed to an unknown male . Pretty shortly after he got out he released Super Silver Haze which he says is related through the Nl / Hz aka C5 mother .

No doubt Jack is a classic . Just got a thing for disinformation re breeding .
If I worked the Ohaze x Red Skunk what will I find in later generations , or how will it combine ?
If I know what the parents were I know what characteristics to look for . If the lineage is incorrect how do I know what will pop out ?

I understand your position, Seedsman work with different breeders who are the ones who provide our entire range seeds/strains, the info we offer are those provided by them. We are not interested in lying to this. On the other hand we also have a great confidence in them and the seeds provided. We are very proud of our strains..
