Looks like u found ur likely culprit. Set up a res in the room or warm area for the water to be room temp. Should turn around quick for ya.
I prefer coir that's got some moisture to it. When it's bone dry it's harder to break the cec problem. Ur runoff ec isn't too bad at all. Just feed thru for some runoff ur next couple waterings.

Most of the plants already looked better today. I am going to stick to the 6/9 without additives for now and keep my reservoir next to the heater. Seems like they had cold feet...I keep you updated and take some pics tomorrow...
Peace
Ace

I'm having the exact same issue!

This is my first time growing in coco and I accidentally bought 80% hydroton 20%coco and I have no idea how often I should be watering - I think that's my issue because I have my environment dialed in.

My res is kept at 68 degrees and my current crop looks exactly like that 5 weeks into veg now.

Real curious to see if you can figure out the root cause.

solid thread, lots of coco growers have these problems because they forget to keep it simple.

my water temps are about 60-65F most times.

Do that a time or two, n ur roots should start to fill in, then water it consistently not letting the plants dry again. As long as u get a little runoff u shouldn't have any problems.

The problems ur having could be coming from ur additives or environment, or keeping to wet or dry. Make sure u have some air circulation to slightly move the leaves in the canopy. Make sure ur root zone temp is not too cold. And keep ur rh 5 to 10 points below ur temp. A good fast vigorous veg schedule I use is 82f/75%rh. And also low rh in relation to ur temps can cause the problems ur having too. Get these things in check n ur plants should be back in vigorous mode in no time.
im outta rep, but this right here is fire. solid advice.

Bingo !!!
Stick with a 6/9 ratio till 5-6 weeks then drop the Micro down, you don't need the N at that point...then raise your PH to 6.1-6.2 to compensate for the coco drop. I's rinse them with 600-650ppm of base & add .25 tsp Epson per gallon to jump start the Mg.

The high run-off is from the unavailable nutes left in the pot, increasing salts drive the PPM values up...it isn't all raw base nutes. Keep your roots & water a sensible temp 64-70F, cold roots slow the whole plant down, and she can't absorb what you're giving her.

Guys having problems in veg or early bud, are going to learn a hard lesson in the 5-6th week....they will shit the bed on you, leaves will turn yellow/brown crispy and won't finish(as I told some posters on this thread).

6/9 and 1 gram epsom per gallon. I run that after week three til flush on mine. First three weeks I use cal mag to get some extra nitrogen. Also, if you're in veg I'd recommend using cal mag if using RO water and the gro from GH, or double the micro for more nitrogen. I've found without more nitrogen and cal mag in coco my plants do not do well. With extra nitrogen and cal mag they thrive!
