Cool Blue Moonshine (DJ circa 2000)

Hola Blue Community,

It has been a long time since I ran these beauties that were half of the equation to make my Silver Surfer (BM x Super Silver Haze). I narrowed a batch of seed from DJ short in 2000 to a small set of Sativa phenos with heavy crystal production and a Highland Thai effect that came on in waves...so easy to over medicate. Here are some pictures of the family at 6 weeks of veg that I hope will please and inspire...

Talking BM Sativa Pheno = Rare

Hola mack_10,

The sativa phenos are indeed rare in the BM line and represent the Highland Thai P1 traits. I selected 3 females from a population set of 36 original seeds acquired from DJ Short via Heaven's Stairway, thanks Richard, back in 2000; so maybe 1999 stock. These are F3 now if I can remember correctly and will be the first reproduction of these by me in nearly 9 years. Germination was 90% and so the stock is very viable and seems to contain a lot of vigour as they are keeping up with the OTM (Doobie_NYCE) mutants running along side them.

Just transplanted a week ago and will trigger flowering in another week so stay tuned for some updates.

Saludos

Yes!!!

I love a good bb sativa ! Wish it wasn't so hard to come by nowadays I'd love to run it again.

What kind of smells do you get from these? I ran a sativa cut a couple seasons back that had the most exquisite pure sweet blueberry smell. Haven't come across anything quite like it since.

I'd love to check out those pics you mentioned but think maybe your album is set to private.
