The bleach application is useful to kill algae and other bad
critters in your coco from time to time.

The most recent use I had was dosed maybe 4 feedings
over a few days at which time I add back trichoderma
and other bennies, a powder I get from kelp f*r less.

I don't use bleach regularly, so can't comment on that.

So, I got and applied nematodes on wednesday came back on friday and so far so good

nematodes were drenched into the coco pots with feed, bottom fed first and then top dressed, so far i have fed normally with no runoff in hopes the nematodes are still in the pots and active

my only concern being that nematodes dont last long in hydroponic solution but it stands to reason that if the fungus maggots can hack it then why not the little nematodes?

all the plants look %100 better already and i have only seen a few fliers, stickies are still out and im hoping the few ive seen are just stragglers, i hit my tents with sm-90, especially the trays

so now what?

It's been working out well for me. I'll see a few fliers when I transplant, especially if I'm recycling the soil, but then nothing! I usually see nothing in flower. It's the only non-organic additive I use.

I use BTI every time I water and sticky traps for the fliers, a little goes a long way. I do love nematodes though, makes the coco look like its moving.

thanks guys, i really appreciate the help

looks like ill be sticking with Bti in combination with SM-90

so far ive called both companies and got some feedback, the woman i spoke to at microbelift was very helpful in explaining how the product functions but couldnt say either way if triethanolamine destroys the bti bacteria or its toxic crystal protein

the guy i got at nutrilife said hands down sm-90 does not kill Bti bacteria or interfere with beneficial microbes. i guess im not supposed to trust him because he sells the stuff but he sounded like he at least truly believed what he said

oh ya by the way. not a gnat in sight feeling pretty happy about THAT

NO JINX!!!

-Peace
