Risk pesticides vs residual solvents...do you cook with bho or Co2?

If I understand correctly, butane could theoretically contain residual solvents and Co2 could theoretically have pesticides...I tend to use everclear personally, but want to try some distillate in my edibles next, should I be getting distillate from bho or Co2, and more importantly, does it matter?
