Supplemental lighting
I have some greenhouses that i want to start utilizing year round. They are 20x60 high tunnels with 17' ceilings.
I have read the gavita 1000w cover a 10x10 area when used for supplemental. Has anyone ran DE in their greenhouse? What spacing? My question you you guys is what would you use, i have two three phase meters on the property, power is not an issue. i have a budget of about $6000 per greenhouse. 1200sqft per Greenie. i run medium size plants in promix, 25 gallon pots. normally 60-70 per greenhouse. Thanks. |

I hung t5 fixtures and clip on CFL lights to supplement daylight. They didn't start to flower early or anything. Just used it at night to keep them awake

yeah, thats what i have now, i am curious the benefit of stepping up to a HPS platform. I am hoping for more vigorous veg and larger yields in the winter months.
