It would be best to get a non-dominant male (recessive) if you breed with it.

Funny you guys arguing over what a skunk smells like. Road kill skunk smells like an alive skunk when he sprays. Smell them all the time and almost ran one over 2 nights ago. Smell them pretty often where i live and even got sprayed by one. Its not pleasant!! I catch the aroma of skunk in many selections of cannibus some stronger than others but none even come close to the powerful smell of the animal.
Im confident that the old skunk pheno can be found again as it was simply the result of a cannibus plant breeding and the smell is in the genetics. Its not like that smell was an instinct plant from the far reaches of the himilayas.

Smell is subjective. Anybody who has done a wine tasting can attest to that. Ask a whole room of people to smell the wine, and 9 times out of 10 you will get varying answers based on what subtleties each individual can pick up.Some will pick up on the wood, some on the earthiness, some on the tannin quality etc. you get answers as strange as poo, manure, grass, and then expected answers like citrus, fruity, etc. The truth is that none, and equally all answers can be right. One might notice the effect barrelling has had, and yet another on the soil characteristics of the particular grape. So to relate this to Skunk, I think I know what I associate with skunk, and the closest association I have is the smell of the Chemdog I grew from clone - by far the reekiest plant ive ever grown, and in an offensive way. Why do I say this? Well isnt it part skunk 91 va - is that road kill skunk?

And to say the cultivar cheese doesnt smell of cheese is a step too far, methinks. Firstly arguments about as to what cut is cheese as many cuts have been labelled this. The exodus folklore as to who and how many cuts were delivered to the Manor. The stories of their lineage. Nothing can be taken as Gospel! Secondly, Ive had cheeses that DID smell of cheese to my partner who isnt a connoisseur of cannabis cultivars. Her nose is my go-to for aromas, as she picks up subtleties that I often miss!

Hello? Who bought all the auction lots??

I'm very interested in seeing how this line looks!

G `day GF

Nope .
91 Sk Va is Super skunk made by Nevil in the mid 80s .

Sam grew 10s of thousands to breed away from the RKS . Nevil tried to put it back in with a cross with a plant from Jim Ortega .

Thanks for sharin

EB .

There was weed in the US that literally smelled like you ran over a dead skunk.

Skunks make a particular smell when you run them over, it stinks to high hell but smells nothing like death or rotting. Dead skunk smells like a more aromatic skunk smell, when you run them over they release all of the skunk spray, thats what the smell is.

I find it BS that anyone is recalling a smell they may or may not have smelled in skunk 1 30+ years ago.

No true roadkill skunk will ever come out of the EU, you have to smell it to know what it is.

The weed that smelled like that used to be quite common in the US, always cheaper mid grade mexican.

I honestly can never figure out why Europeans are so obsessed with roadkill skunk.
G `day Folks

I find it BS you don`t understand the way the human brain works . Smells are detected in a part of the brain that is closely linked to the part of the brain that stores memories .

Ever been back to a place you lived as a kid ? The smells trigger memories .

Thanks for sharin

Elmer thanks for sharing your knowledge. Buds, leaves and general plant shape definitely looks skunky on the Chem 91 but how did you get that info on Dogbud being the old Super Skunk from Neville?
