I wonder if these are pure skunk #1 or some kind of hybrid, I think it is a well known fact that modern skunk #1 contains no rks.
Think i read these are skunky selection of Skunk#1

I’ve always wondered what skunks Shanti might have in his arsenal, be it clones or seed. Years ago I had a Skunk/Haze that reeked to high heaven, definitely on the skunk side. And that was a hybrid with skunk coming from one side although things may have paired up just right (skunk wise).

Some of his Skunk crosses are Nevil's old stock, but i'm not sure if all his skunks came from Nevil.

If you go to MrNice's site (not forums) and look thru the strain menu they usually mention "Nevil and Shantibaba" as Breeders if it's Nevil's old stock, but don't take my word for it.

Now we are getting somewhere.

From the whiff of rks I got from a critical mass pheno, I know its in their genetics. I would not be surprised if they had a fine skunky skunk. We shall see.

This is good news !

Yeah, I realize that. Shanti does give credit if some of the genetics are coming from Nevil. But there are many uses of Skunk with some being listed as just Skunk, or Skunk #1, etc. This may just be semantics in the listings as many have commented on the lineages not being correct, or complete, or dated. You also have the possibility of the usage of different parents/phenos of say Skunk #1 or any Skunk for that matter. Skunk/Haze is using a different Skunk parent than NL5/Skunk just based on gender. A lot of the Skunk#1 crosses listed seem to be using a male but who’s to say it’s the same male.

You know my main issue with any EU breeder selling something that "smells like a skunk" I always wonder how do they know what a skunk smells like, skunks only live in N. America particularly the US and parts of canada. Did they travel to the US to smell a skunk? What a funny vacation that would be, "I'm going to the USA to smell a dead skunk" lmao.

Just because something stinks does not mean it smells like a real skunk, which is the smell everyone is after.

Bizarrely I just spotted that a friend' daughter is part of a pet skunk group in the UK, I think they de smell them

But Skunk 1 never did smell like a Skunk did it, it was just a way of saying that the weed fucking stinks.

The roadkill term too refers to dead animal stink, not specifically dead skunk stink

Likewise the UK Cheese clone smells nothing like Cheese, it is just a nickname because it stinks. It is also meant to be Skunk 1
