NEW GH Flora Nova one part grow.......

I recently purchased the new nutes from General Hydroponics called Flora Nova one part grow. It comes in Grow and Bloom.
They basically took the 3 part series (micro/grow/bloom) and combined in to one bottle. It weighs 12lbs. and costs $70.00

I just started using it about a week ago. It has a pH buffer in it to help maintain a good buffer zone. I have not used pH down at all since using this formula. I practice proper topping off every night while alternating 1/4 strength nutes one night and pH balanced plain water the next. The days I use just water the pH will rise to about 5.95-6.1pH. The next night when I top off with 1/4 strength nutes it brings it down to 5.65-5.80pH.
When I first filled the 50 gallon res and added 3 cups of Flora Nova it took my pH down to 4.0 and my PPM was 1250. I used baking soda by added a little at a time, and waiting 30 minutes before taking a reading until I got it to 5.5pH. So far my pH has not risen above 6.1 and all plants seem to be reacting well. Only time will tell, but I feel the Nova series is the same, just cuts down adding 3 parts compared to one!

Has any one else heard of or used this new product??

I have!

I used the bloom for the last half of my last grow and have used it for this entire grow...It seems to be good shit as far as I'm concerned. I mix my nutes the night before I need to water to let it adjust itself, using the 3 tsp per gallon, and haven't had a lick of trouble. As a matter of fact, I'll keep using it until someone shows me something more simple that gives better results than what I have now!

I agree! The only reason I see using the 3 part series is to control more of what you need, ie....more micro or grow ect.. People who grow in bubblers and need to control nutes for one individual plant, the 3 part works great.

I know what you mean about being simplified. I hate using three part anything. Thats why I use Pure Blend Pro. Good Luck!

I just started using the Flora series also on my new grow. Have 6 blue thunder and a bmr about three weeks old. Have found measuring small amounts to be a hassle though because of the very dark and thick nature of the flora grow. Measuring device has to be rinsed out each time to get a accurate measurement. Otherwise seems to be just about like the three part series so far. IMHO

Yeah Mon........

...........I am using bc nutes right now and considering switching. I can say I am more than happy with the bc nutes using half strength on veg stage and 2/3 strength on flowering stage. I will just see how it goes for ya HOG and others then make up my mind on switching. Good Luck guys!! Organic and easy too use sounds good to me

I know what you mean by measureing small amounts.
on ebay I found 50Ml pyrex syrenge. It is marked at 10,20 etc,and has 2 Ml marks between them.Ill try to get a pic of it if anyone is interested.I put a piece of air line on it so i can draw out of the bottles.I use GH 3 part.I like it so far , have healthy tomatoes, and peppers.I woll try the onepart when these nutes are gone. LLCB---I cant speak for the former three part regiments, but the GH Flora Nova grow and bloom are def not organic...they do have organic elements in them, but also synthetic materials im almost positive! Just thought I would let you know
