Probably a stupid thought but are you sure the stuff stuck to the lid because it's magnetic and not because it's covered in sticky-gluey grime?

Besides, it's likely not from fertilisers or similar things as in the common life only metallic iron, cobalt, and nickel are magnetic whereas salts and the like aren't. Just saying...

Terrible and sounds like you made this up. You do know plants natually require iron right?

To suggest plants could overaccumulate iron to the point you are smoking it is goofy. Not only would the plants be hella sick if they had such an overabundance of iron it was being ground out of the weed.

I really cant belive this post. Clearly you dont understand the plants draw up ionic salts from the food, not metal shavings. Its simply not possible for cannabis to accumulate enough elemental iron to have any detecteble level let alone be dropping metalic shavings.

Id seriously take a look through some books about horticulture if i was you. Not trying to be crass but the info you offer is among some of the worst misinformation ive seen online to date.

Plants take up metals as micronutrients in VERY small amount. Just to put it in context, for every 1 iron atom taken up by a plant there are 500 nitrogen atoms or 125 potassium atoms. There are also 1000 times less nickel atoms as iron atoms present in plant tissue. So we can basically conclude that there is in no way enough of these elements present in plant tissue to aggregate into something you could see with the naked eye.

I can find metals in any creek. Now gold on the other hand, much more difficult.

the metal content of all of your favourite nutrients can be found on the CDFA website.

The nutrients require analysis before they can be sold in California and any self respecting nutrient company is operating in that market.
