I sometimes trim the live plant,as well.I have observed that when you harvest you don't have the wet hay smell that many strains get when trimming wet right after chop.I did one actually an hour ago,gonna cut it in a couple days when the pot dries...

Oye Syd buddy,we think alike I'm waiting for pot to dry already trimmed standing..I have a lot of seeds, dug into my stash found some Panama I couldnt resist . I have so many ace seeds too many for my lifetime would love to donate them somewhere for other growers to try.Definately got to get the bubs back in the line up should have enough GT to get thru winter..have some nice crosses from the summer grow on and on brother you know how it goes.

@Syd Barrett& Buddler

Im also trying to get rid of the hay smell. Especially when your burn your stash...sometimes it has that nice punget smell, almost like incense! While on some strains it just smells like burning hay/grass. Is it strain dependant or trim related? Any insight would be appriciated! Working a lot on improving the taste

I think it has to do with the dry and cure process; usually the plants that dry too fast are like this. I've had to slow things down a lot to keep things pungent

OK, Friends of the cannabis plant,well I went for a lil walk ,alls I could find was the Northern rain plant ! survives in torrential rain storms, cold nite shakes it all off frost no problem, and what a bunch of crap lol shes hangin in there though I,ll bring her in on wet nites .. And the seed project is already outta control got some great new strains from a diff breeder so ill keep them to me self .As for ACE though I have acebubs x ace male and some beautiful panama from 2015 I bred this one was a fave just checked them 5 for 5 cracked in 24 hrs. pays off to keep seeds in fridge .Anyways ...
