I smoked some of Nirvana's Bubbleiscious not long ago that a friend bought and grew and it wasn't anything like I expected. Had to burn through 2 big hug leg joints just to feel a buzz. Also wasn't much on taste either. Smell was OK but not what was expected from this strain. This is my experience.

Well that sucks. Grew the bubble and ak from them years back.
Both where good, the bubble slightly better. Everyone loved that bubble, was indestructable ,mold proof Frosty as a mofo. Very sad to hear nirvanas gone to shit Their best days where when it was £10 a pack.

Nirvana, hope they look at some of these posts.
We like the idea of economical F1's, but it won't stand if they sell seeds that make bland, no keeper nasty ass mutherfucking nags.

That's weird?
I have always enjoyed Nirvanna products. I have grown several of their lines and been very happy. Indeed, I found that their seeds did exactly what "was on the tin". 😀 Uniform plants, good yields, and good smoke. I have never tried the bubblicious before, but I find it hard to believe it is bunk, given my experience with their other lines. Nirvana's prices also were an added bonus. I hope that your bad experiences are only a few rare exceptions to the rule. |

I'll try and dig up some pics of that bubbleiscious grow, so, you guys know I'm not just talking chit.
I, honestly, went into it not expecting much, because of the initial price; hoping to be pleasantly surprised. I wasn't. (seed stock was purchased way back when, when there were 5 and 10 pack deals. so things COULD be different now, because, quite a bit of time has passed since Ive run this.) Everyone's mileage will vary, of course. And there COULD be some nice stuff in their gear. I just didnt want to waste any more time and space trying to find them.....; considering there are much better "cost effective" options out there. For that same price range, Ive found KC Brains to have more interesting, consistent, stuff. KC33 and Leda Uno are great smokes for the price. Again.....just my OPINION, of which, there will be many. -cap Last edited by hubcap; 12-04-2016 at 02:12 PM.. |

Re: cuttings....I hear you brother.😌
One smoke that really surprised me, was Federation Seeds, Island Sweet Skunk. I read the hype and, as usual, discounted it (there is so much bullshit in the cannabis world😉 ). I did not take cuttings and boy was that a mistake! Their version (much different than than Next Gen's) was sativa dominant and was a rocket to space. Sadly, you don't realize how how great it is until properly cured. I still have some seeds (kept in a cool dry, airtight place), but I guess they are toast.....they were from 2004 or so. |

Again what I said was from my experience. I won't take a chance with that strain again. They have some that I would like to grow but afraid to pull the trigger.

Hubcap, no need for proof.
The old saying "your mileage may vary", is apropos when it comes to growing cannabis. I guess I have been very lucky. I tend to be a sceptic, so I start out with low expectations and, sometimes, I am proven wrong. I have been growing cannabis since 1976, on and off. Back then, I would only grow grass that proven itself to be stellar. (The advantage was being able to smoke the bud prior to growing it to decide if it had good genetics, potency wise) and then as long as I could wring out its best qualities...it should meet or exceed its parent's potency. The seeds were free in those days😀....no seed company hype to trick people. Today, the amount of bullshit on seed firm's sites can be really difficult/funny to wade through. What chutzpah. Really....trying to fool experienced cannabis aficionados....with their blurbs.....I have seen some firms calling stains "kush", that are mostly sativa and so on ...go figure? That said, I will continue to buy Nirvana products, but I buy from them directly. If I ever get disappointing results from them, then I migh reconsider. |
