Question Nirvana discounted packages

Hi folks - I've seen the really inexpensive Nirvana seed packs & was wondering how old those seeds are?

Might be a good buy if they're not more than 5 years old & were kept in fridge.

they seemed to have gotten more expensive with age.
maybe they think these seeds are wine?

fwiw...
I once did a 5 pack deal from them and got 5 packs of bubbleiscious.

it was pure hay, so, Id recommend against that one....IF its even still around anymore.
So much other better stuff out there in the price ranges, imvho.

I have grown Nirvana, many years ago (when they had Cali Orange). They were cheap but damn fine smoke. For $14 bux a pack I'd have pulled the trigger, but the feedback I'm getting makes me wonder. Hmmm, what to do?

I appreciate everyone's input

I was disappointed with Bubblicious. Three times now I've popped Bubblicious seeds, and all three times I tossed the plants before they finished. I know several people who were happy with them, but all of mine have been garbage.

I grew bubblicious back in '07ish and the smoke was some real fire. I got another pack a year or so ago and was highly disappointed! From what I've read lately about Nirvana....you better hope those seed packs are older than 5 years....only way you might find some fire in there!

I will say, i got a pack of Ice at the same time I got the last bubblicious and I'm still running a keeper out of that. The Ice looks and smells just like the breeder's pic and description and the phenos were all very similar. It was their feminized version for what it's worth.

I actually got mine more than five years ago, and still have a pack in the fridge since I have a hard time throwing away viable seeds.

Might just be the luck of the draw so far. Who knows, maybe there's something really good in the seeds I still have left. Might be quite a while before I find out though, because I've got hundreds of seeds I want to go through first

In my experience, you can get some nice smoke with some digging. PPP has some really nice sativa phenos. Snow queen I believe it's called, AK-48 and White Rhino can put out some decent smoke also. Tried the papaya but got shit germ rates. Luck of the draw, as inexpensive as they are/were you shouldn't expect consistency that's for sure. But my experience with Nirvana was a while ago (pre '08) can't speak for their current stock. But in a pinch I'd try them again if I had to. But if you're lacking space to pop enough to find something good, I'd go with something more tried and true.
