Bogbubble and sour bubble organic grow
Hey all! Been a long time fan and follower of Bog since the early OG days. It's been over 10 years since I last had a grow but back then we had Bogglegum and Lifesaver and they were top shelf. Got my hands on some Bogbubble and sour bubble gear so thought I'd document things here.
4 Bog bubbles have been under fluorescents for 2 weeks since seed and just got put under a 600w MH a few days ago. I originally threw down 6 seeds but 2 never popped. ![]() I had great success using Bog's soil mix recipe back then so ill be doing the same. The fifth one in the top middle is some bagseed that I'm mainlining. The plan is to veg these for about 6-8 weeks before flowering The one on the bottom left seems to be different pheno than the others. Nice fat indica leaves. Can anyone share some knowledge about these two different phenos? I just popped 6 Sour bubbles and those will be a couple of weeks behind the BB's. . |

I'm not sure why the photos posted upside down. Sorry about that!

Quick update. The 6 Sour Bubbles are doing awesome. Moved them from solo cups into 1 gal pots after a couple of weeks under the T5's. The 4 Bogbubbles are now 30 days from seed and are just starting to develop preflowers. They all seem to be leaning towards female. One of the side branches on one of them split on its own and there seems to be some interesting growth occurring there.

Going to transplant the Bogbubbles tonight into 5 gal smart pots. They are definitely ready. I forget how much of a cabbage plant these things are. So bushy and compact. They're about 8" tall and already past their 10th node. The main stem is also fatter than my pinky.
After they fill out the smart pots for a couple of weeks, I'll top them and use the tops for clones. Planning on flipping them to 12/12 on Jan 1st which would be about 2 months of veg |

Things are coming along. One of the Bogbubbles grew some balls last weekend so it's gone. The one on the upper left showed some pistils.
But the 2 on the right I'm not 100% positive about yet. Here are some close-ups of the one in the upper right corner. |

Hi JDMT
Nice plants bro! I'm very interested in your grow as i'm growing bog bubble too. I ended up with 3 ladys and 8 males... One of the ladys is showing a great bubblegum smell. This pheno don't look as productive as the two others, but the buds are rock hard and very indica looking. The two others are growing bigger! lots of vigor and good yeild. The smell is way more «kushy» on these ones. Thank you for the show

I just chopped the 2 Bogbubbles on the right. The preflowers started to grow stems and claws and were definitely male. So out of 6 seeds, 4 germinated and only 1 female. The 6 Sour Bubbles are coming along. 3 of them are much taller than the rest and I suspect may be male based on observations on how the male Bogbubbles looked and grew. I will now veg the lone female until the Sour Bubbles are ready to flower. |

Damn! We've been both unlucky regarding the male / female ratio. Hopefully you have a pheno to work with !
Here is the bushier pheno, the one with a faint bubblegum smell. Very fruty. As you can see, they don't need much nitrogen. Today is day 35 of 12/12 Nice to see how healtly your SB are. Last edited by Franc-Pousseur; 12-20-2016 at 04:31 AM.. |
