How schetchy is the drive in and out of Humboldt County?

I need to go pick up 30 # of trim in Humboldt. How risky is the drive. Any places to void? Any highways to avoid? Do they do checkpoints?

No check points per se:

But I have heard of Caltrans doing "Roadwork" and then LEO comes out of the bushes with a dog and walks the car line. But that was like, 10 or 15 years ago? So I don't know what happens now a days.

Its called, "The Gauntlet."

The speed limit changes frequently and tons of hills, so you can easily speed downhill if not careful. Speeding is the easiest way to meet a CHP up close and personal.

I5 north then 36 west at Red Bluff

The speed advisories on 36 are spot on, particularly after Mad River and wear your seatbelt

I made crazy strong cookies, from cannabutter, made with GG4 sugarleaf trim. 200 grams of dried sugarleaf trim to 1 lb of ghee or butter. Made about 100 cookies. 1 full cookie and could not walk and mild tripping. Half cookie real strong high, and sleep really well. 1/4th cookie for a good high.

I could not believe how strong it was, from stuff I usually throw away. It is a lot of work, but I think the cookies are easily worth 10 bucks a piece.
