Need some info from the mid 2000's

Hey guys, got gifted a bunch of things but I was not on the web scene then and well the new wave has come and knocked many of these varieties out of the spot light.... But I need some info if possible, any hazy memories appreciated!

The beans I got are orange velvet, space queen, Jack the Ripper, astroboy, 123, and cuttlefish hash plant.

Anyways thanks and hopefully I can get a few of these old gems to pop!

Space Queen is aight if you can find a geno/pheno you like. Lanky bitches they were. Pineapple & other tropical fruits was on the menu. Potency is variable.
Those are the only seeds in your list I have experience with.

JTR is rumored to be some of the best work TGA did. All opinions of course.

If you were to start any of those I'd suggest JTR first.

Thanks MJ! I will be starting up a few soon for sure! Just wanted to know what I was in for.

The guy I got the from is really nice and was stoked on them... Put a few projects on me he didn't have time and space for, but was still keen on cuts if I found keepers!

Thanks again for the insight! I really am curious about the orange velvet... Got a few orange line I need a male for and am thinking of testing the few X's he gave me. And some baked beans ojsdkb f2 seeds looking for a citrus y reekers as a male donor....

The thing about Subcool gear is the flavor. You sometimes hear the potency may be less than expected, but the flavor is always described as top notch, exactly as described. And an enjoyable smoke doesn't have to be a head banger. Sometimes the flavor is the main attraction and the potency isn't even a consideration when the overall experience is like a fine wine. Like a good Blueberry. Not the most potent, but a joy to smoke with a flavor that you don't forget and can't get enough of.

Found this quote from ThaDocta speaking briefly on Orange Velvet, hres the thread it was posted in.

He says he crossed it with "Candy Jack"... Considering I don't remember any pure Orange Velvet (remember this is the Melvin clone renamed) seeds sold in mass, and AO is (Orange Velvet x JTR male) I would wager a guess that Tangie is just some AO F2's... WOOOORRRDDD UP!!!

We did Jack the Ripper a few years back, intensely lemony flavour... even the male that I used in a few crosses stank of lemons. The pollen tasted of lemon too
