Loompa goo, farmers fire, purple terps from SGG.
Finally beginning this thread, going to grow loompa goo (afgoo x Blueberry f4), farmers fire (cherrypie x Blueberry f4), and unreleased purple terps (obama x Blueberry f4) from second generation genetics. Big thanks to Jd short for hooking me up with these beans!
I plan on germinating 10 of each. The blueberry f4 is the male being used for the crosses. I grew 23 shortbread (lambsbread sourdiesel x Blueberry f4) last run and ended up with 10 females. All turned out so good, I'm ecstatic to see what these other crosses bring to the table. Here's the link for the shortbread if anyone is interested. https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=325253 It's also a good reference to see how my last build was oriented. Now I changed some gear around to get more floor space square feet and more ceiling height. Also added merv13 filters to block all pollen and spores coming through intake air (due to last run being contaminated with bits of powder mildew). I got so fed up with the pm, I killed some mothers of a few strains because i wanted to clean every last square inch of my house, with no way for the pm to stay thriving. I went all out and did a complete tear down. I took any posters or decorations down and stored them. I emptied each room and scrubbed the ceilings to the floor with hydrogen peroxide. I re weather striped the seals to my widow exhaust/intake port to each room. I ripped down the old plastic and cleaned the windowsills and blinds to each room, and put up new plastic around the widows (to block light). My old build was a 4x4 veg tent and a 4x8 flower tent in separate rooms. In the 4x4 veg tent room, I also had a 5x5 tent in. Both tents could be used as grow space or used as a hang drying tent. My veg and dry space was great, just not much room left after the tents were inside. The 4x8 flower tent was just really bad with height. So I turned the 4x8 into the veg tent, and figured no need for a tent for flower, and I'll convert the room to a flower space so I can utilize all of my ceiling height and floor space out of my lights. It will be the same 2000w, but I expect a substantial yield increase. Here's some photos of the old build when the tent was being used as a flower room. Also had an ac in the room (no need for it now that I have a big intake fan), it used to be passive intake. I continue this post so I can put in more pictures. |

The veg room, I re oriented to have more work space. I only put the 4x8 in the room, now it seems like I have doubled/ tripled my work space in the room. It used to be a joke transplanting, now I'll have plenty of room for tasks.
Here's some photos of laying plastic and duct work, then pictures of it all ready with the tent and lights installed. Keep in mind, every last piece of equipment was cleaned with hydrogen peroxide or isopropyl on bulbs/glass. Last edited by Phenome; 11-13-2016 at 07:47 PM.. |

The veg room is a 4x8 tent with 2, 8 lamp t5 4ft sunblaze panels.
4inch canfan outake 6 inch fantech intake with fb6 merv13 box. Flower room is about 9x6.5 of canopy space (on a low estimate) 2 1000w blockbuster hoods with ushio hps bulbs, running on 2 solistek maxtrix ballasts. 8 inch vortex exhaust hooked to a mercury 4 fan speed temp controller, with a canfan carbon filter. 6 inch fantech intake with fb6 merv13 box. Still need to clean up a few things like oscillating fans and extension cords before I drop some seeds in the soil, but won't be long. Hopefully within the week. |

Forgot to mention, I won't be using any bottled nutrients.
I will germinate them in 3.5x3.5" soil containers. After about two weeks they will be transplanted into 2 gallon containers. The 2 gallon container will be their home until flower, after sexed, will be transplanted to a 5-7 gallon containers depending on how many turn out to be female. I'll just be using bag soil, fox farm ocean forest. The only supplements I'll incorporate is dragonfly earth medicine compost teas rarely. Probably will top dress some earthworm castings every once in a while too. Will be regularly spraying neem oil and d.e.m natural mystic compost tea for preventative maintenance. |

Thanks man.
I'm exited to see the results on the afgoo cross also, glad to see you stop by to check out the thread. Hopfully I get the show on the road within a few days. Still need to go pick up soil and clean a few more things and I'll be running in no time. I got a sample of loompa goo from Jd and it was some fire. Thanks for the info on your afgooey progeny. The loompa goo I got a sample of was a nice smooth smoke, sweet fruity hints. Like you say, I believe he is seeing skunky fuel phenos too. |

Germination
I mixed about a half bag of fox farm ocean forest with 1 1/2 tbs of each brilliant black, lush roots 840, fat flowers, and radiant green and only 3/4 tbs of natural mystic. All dragonflyearthmedicine products. I would have added a bit of earthworm castings but was too lazy to go back to the grow store for more (didn't realize I used the rest of what I had).
The way I mixed it thoroughly without making a mess is, get a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. I made up enough for all 32 containers in 2, 5 gallon buckets 3/4 filled so there was room to shake the soil and amendments together. I decided to germinate 2 of vanilluna also So now we have these germinating 10 loompa goo (Mendo Afgoo x Blueberry f4) 10 farmers fire (Cherry Pie x Blueberry f4) 10 purple terps (Obama x Blueberry f4) 2 vanilluna The top horizontal 10 are loompa goo The middle rows of 10 are farmers fire The bottom rows of 10 are purple terps The 2 off to the right are vanilluna Now it's just time to wait and hope they all pop above surface. |
