My first grow! Any advice welcome!
This is my first grow, ever. 4x4x7 with 1000w HPS in flower and 600w MH for veg. Used organic soil made from 3:1 roots organic green fields to promix BX, added perlite, and amended with an organic starter pack from my hydro store (not sure on exact amendments). Started in solo cup>3gallon>10 gallon geopots. 2 northern lights and one delicious candy. Candy is 1 week less veg then northern. All plants topped 4-5 times each. Vegged northern for 6-7 weeks then flipped. About 11F. I use blue planet nutrients and water 1/4 strength every other watering. Also did a little LST.

WTH?
You just jumped into a F1 racing car and set a new lap record. My first grow, (currently still going) has got nothing on what you got everything looks great, you must ether A) be lucky B) got the magic touch C) patient and understand the principles of everything working harmoniously together D) have elves that come in when your asleep and fix everything that you have been doing wrong Im just jealous :-) Great work, I look forward to seeing more of this further down the grow |

Consider supplementing the flowering girls with some light from the MH as well as the HPS.
Doesn't need to be on every minute but a more broad light spectrum during flowering usually results in higher potency and density of buds in my experience. |

Nice job! Is that northern lights you have from seed or is it the NL#5 cut?

Very nice for a first grow, I'm guessing you did some reading here before you started.
Have you thought about what you will be doing with the soil after the harvest? My advice is to use the same soil again, add some worms (red wrigglers) to your pots and create a mulch/companion plant layer...transition to a living soil. Going organic will make yo weed dank and save you bank. |
