Give it up to Crop King Seeds for standing behind their product
Have to say thanks to Crop King Seeds.
Had 30 White Cookies and 30 Dark Angel Got 24 good sprouted ladies from the White Cookies with a possibility of maybe 2 or 3 more still popping up. The Dark Angel however only germinated 2 seeds and so far none have shown their faces...... I contacted the company, went over my germination process, and the results. And they are sending out replacements!!!!! Great Company can't wait to try their other strains |

Weighing my options on heating this winter.
Option 1 Ventless 30k BTU blue flame heater possibly x2 +Easy installation +Works when power is off +Low cost -not sure if they will work at 7k elevation Option 2 Modline Hot Dawg 50k + Definitely would keep things warm -not sure where to install in the greenhouse -must be vented -cost is higher than all other options Option 3 Radiant tube heater 50k btu +Easy installation +Very good heat even spread with 30ft tube +Most fuel efficient -double the cost of cheapest option -needs power to operate Which would you pick and why? |

Is your GH load bearing capacity been tested? I had a hoop collapse on me during a snow storm..
Looks good man, yea those hoods could be smaller. Can't help you with the heater question as my experience with gh's is limited to the ghetto rig PVC builds I learned in the backwoods of the triangle. Somebody will chime in though

As far as the snow load. The hoophouse has a steel frame. 2.5in Poles driven 24in into the ground are their anchors. Will have double layer inflated poly. Has vertical supports that will be installed inside at 8ft intervals. Copying a greenhouse that's in alma at 10k so hopefully things will go well

Sorry I haven't updated for a while it's been a busy time getting ready.
Ended up getting a bunch Indica dominant Maui plants from my buddy. They are ready to be put into flower at about 3 foot tall now. Going to give them another week of veg while I finish the winter prep on the greenhouse. So on to the greenhouse. Got it wrapped and inflated with a second layer of plastic. That helped a lot with the cold. Added 12 black poly barrels filled with water for some mass heat. I'm currently installing a 30000 BTU infrared propane heater that will be directed at those barrels. I also have two 3000 watt dr. Greenhouse infrared heaters just in case it gets super cold. Anyway that's my update so far will try to get some pics in a week or so. |
