Hammered by Parasites.
sorry for lack of responsiveness lately guys.
i've been getting hammered by; fungus gnat, thrip, spider mite, broad mites. had them all. i tend to become a hermit when i get parasites, and keep myself to myself till i deal with the matter. but i'm still dealing with the matter, and it's been quite a while now. I'm starting to wonder if i should just chuck the cuts collection in the bin and start again, or fight the good fight and see where i end up. think i still have broad mites and fungus gnats. any help or advice is appreciated.

Keep your room @42°C for at least 2h to kill all the broad mites...than you can help recover with aspirin.

LOVELIGHTPOWER, hey bro ive had similar problems as you. Have you tried going down the natural predator route? It's worked for me, also I noticed some of my older cuts I believed developed a pathogen and those cuts had to be dumped, complete lack of vigour and half the normal yields.

at the moment i have them all in small pots with a clear cup over them with some cling film round it to increase humidity after using the biowar product. i used the biowar on some other plants i put in the flowering space, then put a clear bottle over them, and that increased the humidity enough to do the job. but the smaller ones had a clear cup over them without cling film and i don’t think the humidity was enough to get the bio war working. so trying another dose, also made it a bit stronger.

But idk how it will work for you...I read that 2h @42°C is the minimum required, so you might start from this point... But remember that you also have to treat the boxes...you can't clean the plants to put them in an infected room again. Quote:
For the fungus gnat, you can try with these or these |

thanks for those links. i have tried the fungus gnat predators with success (not complete eradication though). i will maybe try again, after this round of treatment.
the nematodes thing looks great though, i'm going to try and find something similar sold in the u.k. if i can. if not i'll get it shipped from the u.s.
