Hi,

im interested in growing legally, solely for seeds, here in spain...
im looking for legal advice / assistance on how this could be managed.
Ive heard that it is possible, and that a similar "toleration" like with the social clubs across the country, can be acquired...

Maybe there´s someone around with first hand experience who wants to share.

I'm not into Spain laws but I have many friends over there and for what I know you just can't grow anything legally. No one will give you an official (and legal) permission to grow plants.

What's happening is cannabusiness is tolarated. Well, not everywhere. Spain is divided in many self regulated region, wich are more or less permissive. Catalunya y Euskadi are the best options I guess.

About the clubs...they only exists (like sex clubs) because constitution gives the possibility but they're not legal. They try to respect a self created ''list of rules'' but officially they're not contemplated in any law.


Add to this the fact that if you're busted it's pretty difficult to see jail...unless you have a big grow op going on...

yes, thats the impression i get, that the canna business is tolerated.
These niches in the law is what im talking about...
i was told from a reliable source that one could be "allowed" to produce seeds, if after seed extraction is complete, the material is then burnt in a morgue, of course all documented and supervised by a notary...
it seemed very straight forward and not so controlled, but i may be totally mistaken.

Before i go out and look for a lawyer, i wanted to see if anyone here has had any experience..
I do feel a bit uncomfortable about talking to a lawyer about all this, as i cant know if he is the right guy until i have spilled the beans..

I really doubt it's true. Who will allow you to make seeds if there are no official department for this?

Also, think about the seed companies who produce seeds in Spain...no one is 100% legal. Seeds production is illegal, but selling them is legal.

"tolerated", i hate that ... its as if lawmakers are saying "we'll probably turn a blind eye to it, but we're too lazy to implement laws that make sense, laws that everyone can be proud of, so in the meantime... don't sleep easy at night"

little update..
thanks to a friendly companion here, i was passed a contact of a lawyer firm and have already talked to them..
i didnt get into detail with him yet, but the interesting thing was that when i ruffly explained my ideas, he didnt dismiss them as being unrealistic...
we need to have a meeting in the next days to explain thoroughly..
i will update asap...
